Toms right because Charlo already announced his fight with Monroe, GGG and BJS Leftover!
GGG not going to wait for Charlo and Canelo already vacated the WBC title when GGG was mandatory, so that doesn’t make sense to fight for a Mandatory position. GGG will get a good TV deal and see where things go from there. I would have liked to see the Murata fight in Japan, but I’m sure they will figure out a different high profile fight for GGG

You got it backwards GGG promoter said because of the beating canelo gave him that GGG not fighting until 2019 so Charlo took a stay busy fight at the end of 2018 rather then sit out the rest of the year to wait on GGG decision. His fight doesn't impact his standing with the WBC. WBC is still enforcing GGG to fight Charlo in 2019. GGG is the one dragging his feet not telling the WBC what he will do and we all know it's because be going to duck Charlo

Jermall Charlo, WBC interim MW champion and mandatory challenger.

Canelo Alvarez, WBC MW champion.

Except the fact the WBC ordered a final eliminator between Charlo and GGG. Why is this so hard to understand? That is why this fight is being talked about in the first place.

Charlo is NOT Canelo's mandatory just yet. Now the question is does the WBC make him fight someone else or because GGG passed on this fight, Charlo becomes the mandatory?

Looks like GGG may go to ESPN and fight someone like Brant, or possibly move up for Zurdo in 2019 or early 2020?

DAZN now controls every major belt at 160. If he wants a belt he has to sign with Oscar or hearn. He isnt mandatory for any belt so the belt orgs can't help him. WBC after loeffler begged them tried to help him mandating a eliminator fight with Charlo and GGG but they shook as phuk and won't take that fight. ESPN has no 160 fighters. The obvious play is to sign with DAZN stay in the canelo sweepstakes and fight for one of their belts DAZN also throwing around the most money right now. But it's GGG who don't like tough fights so he will sign to ESPN and fight a bum not Charlo and not 1 of the title holders. LMAO

It's also not clear that Jacobs will sign a long-term agreement right now. He could play it fight-to-fight and make even more money. That's an open question.

But I don't think he's an option for GGG anyway.

I think he'll definitely pursue Brandt on ESPN. I'm pretty sure Arum has options on Brandt, which is the only reason he got that Murata fight.

GGG will then fight Zurdo or some other 168 guy then retire, if he doesn't get Canelo.

Not understanding the "racist" comment lol He has a promoter already. They'll be looking for a deal like Warren and Zanfer has with ESPN. Not an outright promoter deal.
