But Gennady didn’t lose that strap and Danny didn’t beat a Champ to get it , It was taken off Gennady over some IBF stickler for the rules Bullsh.it that decided to follow their rules to the T instead of what’s better for the sport

I agree that Jacobs should focus on a Canelo fight first and not even saying he needs to give Golovkin a rematch l. But saying I have no interest in fighting non champs is kind of Lame especially since the only reason Jacobs even got the opportunity for that strap was because of the IBFs f.uckery

And we’re not talking about how Golovkin got his WBA /WBC straps which he essentially got them handed to him

But he got the IBF by beating Lemiuex , and while Lemiuex was nothing more then a fringe contender and got it through a vacant beating another fringe contender in Hassan he beat him in the ring

Champion but because the IBF decided to strip Golovkin because they follow their rules to the T even though it may be detrimental to their Organization and the Sport. The IBF stripping Golovkin essentially because Canelo popped dirty delaying the rematch was BS the same way they stripped Fury because he was obligated to a Klit rematch and wasn’t going to fight Glaskov next was BS it wasn’t done for the betterment of the sport or the fighters just a way to appear as a

yeh we shouldnt forget that GGG was gifted 2 titles. Its like, if Jacobs, Billy Saunders etc were gifted the same number of titles as G was, then they'd all be almost fully unified champs too.

Other side is if GGG wasnt gifted titles, then he was a single titlist all this time.

No what Jacobs is saying sounds reasonable. He wants Golovkin to get a strap first, in order for the two of them can unify or until he can unify. It all makes perfectly good sense. Danny wants to unify the titles and become the undisputed Middleweight champion of the world.

You can argue that Gennnady had a ridiculously easy route to his straps ( he did) but part of the reason is because the big names that brought in $ wanted nothing to do with him , the IBF was the one he got from curb stomping Lemiuex. Yeah Lemiuex got it in through a vacant fighting Hassan and Lemiuex has never been anything but a fringe contender at best but he beat the guy holding it at the time

Did GGg fight overmatched opponets to become the WBC Mando , you bet but it doesn’t change the fact when it was mandated Canelos team thought it was a better idea to give up the strap and create a new weight class and age Gennady a couple years. Was he Ducking , No Canelo is bigger then the straps and make those moves without losing much credibility among his fanbase. GGG Should fight Charlo to be the Mando but what type of crap is Sullumein pulling making G fight Charlo when he's Canelos Mando.
Sullumein sucks Nelos **** imo and has been riding him since he stripped him of the belt a cpl yrs ago.

Golovkin totally refused to fight Sergio Mora

an ex-champ who had clearly faded

they said that Mora was irrelevant, and unknown

then, they proceeded to fight someone nobody had ever heard of

btw, they used that exact same excuse to avoid fights with Lara and Ward..... irrelevant, and unknown..... but on both of those occasions they did the exact same thing they did to Mora..... skulked away to fight a no-hoper that nobody had heard of
