Why doesn’t Crawford tel Top Rank to get a deal for him are showtime? ESPN would never go for that. They want the whole TR stable and especially Crawford and Loma.

Now if Your TR u absolutely make sure u get Munguia as part of the deal.

And what you aren’t looking at is Zanfers point of view. ESPN is the best place for them. They have to look at their whole roster.

Who does Berchelt fight at DAZN? He already beat Bandido Vargas. So what there is Tevin farmer Ricky burns and Ryan Garcia in a couple years?

ESPN has Loma, Beltran, Pedraza, Pitufo Diaz, Nic Walters, Jason Sosa, the WBO 130 champ Ito, Vences, Saul Rodriguez etc.

Uzcategui has Zurdo, Hart, Gvozdyk and McCumby etc

Nery has dogboe, Servania, Magdaleno, Marriaga, Valdez, etc

Matchroom and DAZN are thin at those weights. So zanfer has to make the best business decision for themselves. Not for just one fighter. Just like Haymon isn’t pushing for Charlo to go to DAZN because it’s better business for him to keep Charlo on pbc cards even though it’s a disservice to Charlo.

So using your logic for Munguia, Charlo should tell Haymon he is going to DAZN and if Haymon doesn’t like it he won’t resign with him when his contract is up.
No, I was using YOUR logic to make this comparison.

And you said I don't know what ESPN is being offered or what kind of contract he has, but do you know what kind of deal he has?

The Crawford example is a bad one. Top Rank has an exclusive deal with ESPN. Zanfer can do business with other platforms. They can take Munguia to DAZN, Nery/Uzcategui/Berchelt to ESPN. Will Top Rank want Munguia? Sure, but will they then not decide to give Zanfer dates because he is with DAZN? Highly doubtful as the other three are damn good and it gives them a lot of options. Who is Zurdo going to fight? He needs Uzcategui on ESPN badly. Berchelt is needed on ESPN badly. This isn't a case where Top Rank has a deep stable to fill all those dates where Zanfer is at their mercy. That's simply not the case here.

Again, Munguia can go where ever he wants. His career. I don't fault fighters for the decisions they make. I wasn't one of the guys attacking Crawford or Charlo. However..........

again GGG goes to ESPN that changes a lot...

U aren’t understanding how boxing works. Munguia has 2-4 or more years left in his deal. He can say he won’t resign but it means nothing.

Zanfer can TRY to do what u say but top rank can say I got 10-12 dates a year for your tv fighters and ESPN+ dates for your other guys when they fight out of Mexico IF u include Munguia.

Munguia has no say here. Again Charlo can go sign a short term deal with DAZN. Sign a 18 month 4 fight deal.

If GGG signs with ESPN? Sure, but has yet?

So TR is going to give Zanfer 10-12 dates? Doubtful. But say Munguia isn't included are they going to not do business with them?

Oh, see he has 4 years left now? His contract was extended by four years once he became champion? You got a source for that? Are fights added on your contract when you become a champion or fight for a title on most contracts? Sure, but don't say he has four years left when you don't know that.

Not sure how the Bob father can entice Munguia but he must have an ace up his sleeve otherwise it doesn't make any sense.
I'm sure Bob is up to something, he must have some sort of plan worked out to Munguia even thinking Top rank.

Really surprising. I would at least try to go after Lemieux fight if the Canelo fight is a bit far away. Unless GGG has an offer for ESPN.

DAZN now has every middleweight champ under their control. Munguia is too damn big won't last much longer at 154. And if he does haymon has all the top guys. DAZN has more options at 154, 160 then top rank and ESPN have. What point is having dates if you have no one to fight you end up like Gilberto ramirez who arum has been trying unsuccessful to make a people give a damn about. A big reason why is he is not fighting top guys. Getting the right fights matter he won't get those on ESPN

I agree but I was pointing out the fact that his team was ready to cash him out against GGG. ****** move.

Munguia is a bum anyways. He's Victor Ortiz level. Once he steps up in competition - show's over.
