How about Larry Holmes throwing up right after the final bell rang against Holyfield?
    Freaking classic.
The joke was , Larry was such a pro, he waited till the final bell before he hurled all over the ring .

You know it's funny because they were such arch-rivals but Brian told me that Rainford's B.O. wasn't that bad in fact he said it was almost like the scent of flowers being carried by a nice wind on a beautiful summer's day

Yeah, I watched a boxing documentary that showed that. Quite disgusting but like you say, at least it happened after the actual fight. I remember Juan Manuel Marquez beat some guy who ended up throwing up in his corner from body shots. That shlt was brutal.

as a fighter in mma or boxing, you should want to gain an advantage by not bathing 4 or 5 days out from an event. Also eating garlic and onions 3 days from event without brushing would stop mfers from clinching and grabbing you so much

Coach used to tell us, even though he was the same coach for everybody so everyone got the same advice, not to shower a whole week prior to fighting that way when your opponent gets close they can't hardly breathe.

so we were always a pair of stinky, unshowered, pre-teens. It wasn't something you could complain about seriously so much as joke about.
            That’s a damn trip bro
