He'll do exactly what Kovalev did....let the public make excuses for his losses while snatching the titles from no-hopers and be the #1 guy in the division.
If Canelo stays at 168..what does GGG do??

I think he needs to go to DAZN regardless what Canelo does or what weight he does it at. The money is at DAZN after that Murata L. And he should get nice money regardless of if he's fighting Canelo or Jacobs or Andrade at 160 or Canelo or Groves or Smith at 168.Comment

I think at 37 GGG is who he is doe. I don't think you'll find many 37 year olds tip top in the game (I mean he hasn't won in a minute, but you can still argue he's no worse than #2 in the division ez) moving up in weight cuz they can't make weight. Usually mfers have problems earlier if they are having problems or its a vanity move to a higher weight division to capture a title in another division, kinda like I feel Canelo is doing now.ggg is 37yrs old and has been making 160 for many years...weight cuts don't get easier as a fighter gets older. canelo is not a big mw and his weight cut is probably relatively comfortable. while it may also benefit canelo not to have to cut, I think it's more beneficial to the older fighter who's been a mw much longer.Comment

The middleweight home is DAZN. Easy decision. Although he can sign a one fight deal with Showtime to fight Charlo. That's probably the fight I want to see the most right now.
People are sleeping on GGG.Comment

Yea I wouldn't be mad at GGG vs Charlo. And yea people are discounting GGG waaaaaay too much right now.
There are a lot of good fights to make with him & for other guys to. Pretty much setup any fight with GGG vs Charlo vs Derevyanchenko vs Jacobs vs Andrade vs BJS would have my interest. Idk how many of those fights are or aren't makeable & it probably depends a lot on where GGG signs or doesn't sign, but there are some fun matchups at 160 w/o throwing Canelo in the mix.Comment

He’s the naturally bigger dude as said by many here, at advance age he doesn’t have to put same effort as it is to go down to 160. Could rejuvinate his body.
I don’t see that making a major difference if they’ll fight again but that’s the benefit for GGG.Comment

GGG fights at 160, he won’t go to to 159, he won’t go to 161. He would never dream of fighting at anything but 160.Comment

Yea, Canelo is definitely doing it to cherry pick a belt...if it wasn't a fight for a "title", I think we'd see him facing Lemieux. I still think ggg would take a Canelo fight at 168. It would essentially be the same fight as mw without having to go through a big weight cut. It's not like Canelo is gonna suddenly be bigger or stronger. It would just mean a more comfortable camp.I think at 37 GGG is who he is doe.
