I'm paying for cable. DAZN is like 90% boxing. It's basically a boxing network (USA at least.)
Isn't a boxing network better & more worthy of your dollar as a boxing fan?

For me I'd have loved to just pay for high level boxing & no PPV's. If all of boxing was under one or even a few app network like services boxing fans would be paying less money. I mean do the math. You can watch more boxing for less money. I've been dreaming of this sh^t. Casual fans save money to. They get to pay $20 to watch Canelo's fight now vs $160+ previously.

I don't give a f#ck about 2nd rate MMA, kickboxing, muay thai, sumo wrestling, rugby, or anything else sports wise and sure in the hell won't pay for some gay app with content I don't want to see just to see some mediocre boxing. I watch UFC PPV events at my local Greene Turtle for free while grabbing a bite to eat and a drink or two. Or I watch normal events or the ultimate fighter on foxsports. I don't mind paying to watch good boxing matches unless they are overpriced like GGG vs Canelo rematch. I have yet to see any boxing matches on these gay apps worth paying to watch though. I would be more inclined to subscribe if they actually had good fights. And Canelo vs some bum at 168lbs isn't good enough.

That was out of pocket I agree with you there. DAZN ultimately isn't Hearn doe. Hearn is just DAZN's biggest fanboy is the reality. And DAZN gave him some small amount of money, for them anyway, to work for them for the next 8 years.

ESPN isn't gonna exist as you know it in our lifetimes. All this sh^t is going to be streaming cuz you can't customize broadcast television & people wanna make sh^t their own more nowadays. They want variety. Choices. I blame that Minecraft game.

And come on man ESPN has been around 4 or 5 months. DAZN has been around 1 month. And they got Joshua, Canelo & the WBSS tournament already. And they are still making moves. Give it some time to bake a lil.

And randomly they need to allowing customization of that ESPN+ app cuz its pushing all these bs sports I give no f#cks about when all I wanna see is Boxing & MMA. ESPN people fix that f#cking sh^t.
Who said I ever championed show and hbo? The only thing I've EVER been for is for this fking sport to be accessible like other sports where people can turn on a TV and watch it. I know you're all for the apps but I really hate that this sport continues to linger on the fringes of obscurity. I don't see DAZN helping fix that whatsoever. I'm not outright against them, but they haven't got me excited at all.

Canelo was fighting euro bums on HBO. And charging mfers $80 a pop to watch his good fights. He's gonna be fighting Jacobs & Andrade & probably GGG a third time if Tommy L plays his cards right for $10 a pop.

If that happens I will subscribe to see any of those listed mix it up.

I didn't say you championed anything. I was talking about you paying for boxing in other places. Like others have been doing & will be doing.

I'm for watching boxing. I'm not for or against apps. And ideally I'm for watching boxing in less places & more of it in that one place. That would be the ultimately end game I'd like to see in boxing. I don't care who wins the "game" PBC, ESPN+, DAZN or someone else who's not even playing the game yet.

And I've been wanting to see undercards since the f#cking 90's & finally some cats are doing it. Thats amazing to me.

Basically doe I don't care where the fights are. Free TV, basic cable, premium cable or subscription services. Just put more of it in one f#cking spot at the tip top level for me please. And Joshua, Canelo, Matchroom, GBP & the WBSS tournaments being in one spot is a beautiful thing to me. And this is one month into their run. I ain't mad at that. I'm curious where they'll be in 1 year.

                  Hell nah.
I watch nba and nfl and mlb on cable television. I don't pay for nba tv or nfl ticket I shouldn't have to pay to watch boxing which is esentially what we're doin.

I don't mind doin but it sucks to do so.

Again remind me of the time we weren't paying for boxing? Cuz someone owes me some f#cking money if I was the only one paying for it this whole time.

If you haven't been paying for boxing through out the whole time I've been a boxing fan you usually have just been missing a lot of boxing.

I remember this cuz when I was coming up I couldn't talk no one with money in my house to get us Showtime. So I was missing some fights. I used to have to pay some dork who taped fights to send me a copy of Showtime fights to see some of the fights I just had to see back then.

And f#ck man I was lucky. I had HBO from the earliest years I remember watching sh^t on TV. If you didn't have HBO I'm not sure you could even call yourself a true boxing fan during HBO's prime years in the late 80's & 90's. And HBO cost money.

You're living in yesteryear, actually sounds like you don't like boxing at all based on your posts as boxing is getting far easily accessible these days where APPs will only help.
