why did ggg fight lemieux and jacobs when he "got" canelo next? because he didn't get canelo next necessarily just like charlo doesn't get any big fight necessarily. these guys can easily delay and or drop the belt instead of fighting him. He's a relative unknown and the reason he should fight bigger names and known guys is to raise his profile thus putting more pressure and making it harder from a monetary sense to just avoid him

It was much better during the klitschko era when everyone was waiting for their klitschko shot while fighting no one.

Hey we cry about "They Need To Be More Active..." well don't expect big fights every time they fight if you want them to be "MORE ACTIVE". I have no problem with these match ups at all just as long as it leads into bigger match ups their next fight. Jermell should fight Hurd next and Jermall fight whoever wants to fight, hopefully the WBC give him his damn Shot or GGG accepts the fight with him that the WBC Ordered

Except people were saying that with the Centeno fight. Are we supposed to be ok with fight a ***** opponent, get criticized for being inactive, fight a ***** opponent and repeat.

These fights have nothing to do with what's good for the fighters just what's good for Al Haymon. Haymon is sacrificing his fighters financial well being, their prime years and their legacy and for what? So that Al Haymon can form a monopoly and choke out the competition, not for the fighters but for AL.

Monroe manager deserves a huge raise. The fact that he landed ANOTHER title fight after stinking out his first 2 tries is mind boggling

not really he's basically a belt-less version of Paulie Malignaggi who continued to get fights after losses and bad losses after it was proven he wasn't very competitive with the top guys. The reason Paulie kept getting picked and passed around like a 2 dollar h0e is because he was pillow fisted and not a threat same reason Willie keeps getting picked as an opponent because he's got only 6 career KO's.

Well, then the WBC needs to enforce that mandatory if GGG chooses not to fight Charlo.

But if the Canelo fight doesn't happen, who does GGG fight? Winner of Jacobs/Derevyanchenko? Charlo once again gets left out. His only option is to get that mandatory as they won't otherwise fight him.

I fully expect GGG to fight either those guys or Andrade next. No need to fight someone to earn a title fight when any of those guys would be more than happy to give him a title fight ASAP. And Charlo won't get Canelo next. Canelo wants nothing to do with him.

Why does the WBC get to tell GGG who to fight when he isn't a champion? If he wants to fight Canelo again do you really think the WBC is going to block that fight? Hell no.

Because WBC supposed to be impartial, if Canelo having legal issues with Tutico Zavala, did not make the WBC reconsider, why should they be lenient with GGG? removed him from the rankings, make him loose his spot to fight the money man.
