Casuals don't know sh^t about combat sports you are right with that.

But casuals don't know sh^t about football or basketball or w/e sh^t either. Thats what makes them casuals in the first place. If you know who Keith Thurman's trainer is or who the KC Chiefs assistant defense coach is you aren't a casual fan I'd argue.

They thought manny would KO mayweather, mcgregor KO whatever his name is and such forth they don’t even know what a Competitive match up is.
Everyone can sense a competitive matchup in any sport. Or most people who are sports fans, without being hardcore fans, can anyway I feel like. And boxing is one of the easier sports to tell its competitive I'd argue due to the one on one nature of it.

They want a KO as fast as possible. That’s why the ufc became popular quick kos. The general public doesn’t want decisions they want 2nd kos. They want young Tyson. They want the MP 2009 Manny Pacquiao. Casuals want blood
I don't see that. Only recently with going to more closed circuit fights, which is loaded with casuals, I've seen people more excited for competitive fights then quick KO/uncompetitive fights. Sure that quick KO garners that moment of excitement, but its quickly over & the more sustained excitement is with competitive fights.

Yes and that's the 🍒 pick plan to duck real opponents. Dazn will throw away millions for the next 5 years with Opponen like Fielding, lil G, and Lemeaux.

100%. I think everyone would like too see Charlo in a big fight, but its not like Charlo is avoiding it. He's just out of the loop at the moment. He's in that sh^tty position of needing to wait for his number to be called. It sucks, but thats how this corrupt ass sketchy business works sometimes.

Is that in the works? Last I heard there was talk of BCC vs Lara. I really like BCC's potential & Lara has been my guy forever so I was really looking forward to that matchup. Thats not an uninteresting fight with J-Rock & Lara either doe I'll admit. J-Rock gets a bad rap for his L. He's still a talented & world class guy I feel like, but sometimes the way your L looks it gets you trashed & dismissed by fans more than it should.
I would love BCC vs. Lara! Basically, I would like to see BCC vs. Any SWW Title holder too! I brought up Lara vs. Williams because of this:

Lara-Williams Eliminator to Become Charlo's WBC Mandatory
            October 3, 2018

The WBC will allow Jermell Charlo to make another voluntary defense of its 154-pound title in his next fight. At its annual convention in Kiev, Ukraine, the WBC

              Trash fight and too predictable.

Charlo needs to fight GGG after this or I'm done listening to the hype.

I like both Charlos, I think they are terrific fighters but they only fight tough comp once every 2 years.

This card is a waste of time, what happened to Sulecki, also what happened to the Lara vs Castaño fight, was looking forward to that fight, Castaño never stops coming. (Not saying he beats Lara tho)

I’m not sure how to break things down in a quote like you did, but the majority of casuals In boxing are normal fans/spectators of other sports. The watch football every Sunday they watch basketball when it’s on, they only watch boxing once or twice a year. About them knowing a competitive matchup. Absolutely not. They tune in to watch mayweather lose because they obviously sense a competitive match up. They couldn’t be wronger. If they could sense a good match up or knew what a food fight was ward/kos would have sold millions of PPvs. Top two guys going at it. But nope. Boxing casuals care about 2 things. Name recognition and KOs. I think your giving the general boxing way to much credit for their ignorance of the sport. But we have different opinions and that’s ok
