Wow, the guy went from a fixture at 155 because 160 was too big for him, to now fighting at 168 for good because 160 is too small. Funny how Canelo's size changes depending on GGG's age and the level of competition in a particular division. Just a coincidence I guess.

Did you just say George Groves takes off Canelos head? LOL! Give me a freaking break! Groves needs to stay fighting Euro comp dude. Everyone talks about him like he is some star. Canelo would take his a** to school. Smith would be fun to watch considering his size though.

He's just promoting the fight. Roy Jones said the same thing before and shortly after beating John Ruiz after jumping to heavyweight. Hey maybe I'll stay at heavyweight and fight Lewis or Tyson. But after winning the belt he ultimately did what everyone thought and moved back down to his natural weight because heavyweight is too damn big for him. Canelo giving up too much height, length and weight to stay at 168 plus the bigger money fights will be at 160 with current middleweights or fighters moving up to middleweight soon. Easier to sell your fight by saying well I'm fighting Fielding first and will see how I feel how I perform then determine what weight I fight at after the fight then it is tell the world after this fight I'm going back to 160. This is a stay busy quick turnaround fight that just so happens to be at 168 to add the footnote to his career 3 division world champ nothing more.

How about in May. Canelo vs. Benavidez and GGG vs. Zurdo with the winners fighting in september and the losers as well. That would be huge for Cinco De Mayo and Mexican Independence dayS.

Still doesn't make it legit. Golovkin got the praise from casuals and Youtube commenters for the title defense shtick because they believe every word HBO says.

"but what I want is to be among the only 10 Mexicans who have won three different titles in different divisions and that is my goal," we're not seriously considering this to be an actual world title win are we? This is like if he went to the wwe and Vince McMahon let him win the Intercontinental title. It's a scripted farce.

Is middleweight too stacked or something?

Not surprised...160 has Charlo, Jacobs, Saunders and Andrade, while 168 has a string of no-hopers for champions, that includes Ramirez. Like I said when they first announced his big contract, don't expect to see even half of these fights against dangerous opponents. In ten or eleven fights we'll be lucky to see three top level opponents, if that. Floyd 2.0.

Canelo is so fake about his weight he makes Amir Khan look like a legit witness
Now with the belts and the dazn deal he is going to fight super middleweights at 164,165 aka super canelo weight
Fighting twice a year against up and comers one from britain one from mexico

Red headed PEDs user is so pathetic. Going to stay up there fighting bums, away from Jacobs, GGG, Derevyachenko, Andrade, Charlo... She will do anything to avoid her mandos.... Pathetic
