Canelo. I'm too small to fight Golovkin at Middle. Flash toward.... But I feel great at 168..

I think at that weight a C level fighter could knock him out with a lucky punch.

The Rocky fight isn't for a real title. It isn't. So if Canelo wants to win a title at 168 he's going to have to fight a real title holder.

This whole situation is really simple. No one wants anything to do with Jermall Charlo. That is all there is to it. Thus, Canelo needs an excuse to vacate when he is ordered to fight Charlo. Another fight at 168 is one possibility. He could fight g again, saying it is a bigger payday. g isn't even going to be in the same state as Jermall Charlo. Even besides Charlo, Canelo will beat. Once Canelo vacates or gets out of facing Charlo somehow, then he is fine at 160. He will beat Jacobs and Andrade. He already laid a vicious beating on g. Charlo is tall, with a longer reach, one punch ko power, and good boxing/countering skills. Styles make fights, and his style and skill set is all wrong for Canelo and for g. They both know it too.

Not a fan of this. I mean why?
168 is the weakest division past 147. I dont honestly care to see him fight any of those dudes.

Callum Smith or George Groves would take his head off.

168 is one of the weakest divisions. Right now 160 is great. Simply, he doesn't want to fight Charlo, Jacobs, Andrade, Saunders. I don't want to say he afraids of losing to them. I believe he can beat all top MWs. He just doesn't want to fight against talented tough boxers. He wants easy money by fighting big C level fighters. Either way, he brings lots of money.

GGG was celebrated for defending this very title...

some good fights at middleweight to be made but looking at his new deal I can see why the incentive isn't there. He's PIF regardless.
