How is it unfair Flo? Change it to Floyd and Robinson or Floyd and Ali. All are a top 15 ATG, Ali and SRR are top 3 ATG's. Floyd isn't on their level.

I don't think its right to rank someone inferior above someone for whatever reason. I HATE Ray Leonard more than anyone. I love Hagler and Floyd but don't have them above him just out of spite.

If you don't see Floyd ranked there then I would truly question how you rank fighters. Manny's legacy may continue to grow as he wins. That is fine. That doesn't mean he climbs past all the guys ahead of him like Floyd.
To say that Pac is inferior to Floyd is unfair because you’re undermining his accomplishments (a feat that can’t be duplicated). Marquez is clearly ranked lower than Manny despite having a win over him but I wouldn’t call him an inferior fighter. Again, this is based on opinion and preference. I usually take rankings from boxrec, the Ring, ESPN, etc. with a grain of salt. I’m curious to know these credible ATG rankings. And what is there to question about how I rank fighters? Just because I don’t put Floyd in a ranking that you do?

Just make Pac and Thurmon already. Easiest fight to make and WBA could easilty get it done. Let Porter fight Ugas winner fights Crawford and Khan. Let Pac -Thurmon winner fight Spence- Garcia winner.

Talk about anything boxing related here. Where the boxing discussion is always Non Stop!

couple lists in this thread here.

In part yes. same is if I made a list and left Manny off or ranked him below a JMM or a Cotto. When posters discuss preference or opinion that usually means in lieu of something tangible because when you use tangible criteria the guy they like comes in 2nd, not that you are doing that.

You are right, you are entitled to your opinion and I should leave it at that.

edit: I am in no way undermining any accomplishment Manny has in this discussion we are having.

You wouldn't call JMM inferior because he has a KO win, a draw after being down 10-6 in the 1st round and 2 close controversial losses that the majority of ringside scores felt he won. That isn't the case with Floyd and Manny.

But again you are right in that as a fan you have an opinion and it should be respected.

You can take anything you want with a grain of salt but nobody is objectively rating Pacquiao over Mayweather. It defies logic.

Key word: Subjective. For starters I have my Top 15 ranking like this off the top of my head:
            Sugar Ray Robinson
            Harry Greb
            Henry Armstrong
            Muhammad Ali
            Sam Langford
            Ezzard Charles
            Roberto Duran
            Joe Louis
            Willie Pep
            Archie Moore
            Sugar Ray Leonard
            Pernell Whitaker
            Barney Ross
            Carlos Monzon
            Alexis Arguello

Again, this is subjective and my ranking means squat. I know people will disagree with it. This is another reason why I take boxing rankings with a grain of salt, because you can pretty much change around the way you rank them the way you want to see it as.

              On topic now:
I commend Pacquiao for continuously competing even at his age. I would prefer him to have just 2 or 3 more fights but if he actually grabs a win against a top WW that would be quite an accomplishment to his already great resume.

I think your confusing Pac with Floyd , Floyd is the one with constant Lien's against his estate.

You know you and the rest of the delusional pac fans are really funny.

When Thurman was suggested previously, you guys posted that it was unfair to ask Manny to fight the best at this age. Thurman looks vulnerable against Lopez and many of you are now on board for the the Thurman fight because you think Manny wins. LMFAO!

Its all good. I take some jabs at the pac fans from time to time so I get why some of them are annoyed with me and go at me. I deserve it sometimes.

Even when I'm hating I try to be objective.

See some Pacfan's are just annoying (and I'm a Die hard PacFan). They can't keep their fandom and objectivity separate.
