Scalpers already taking huge losses trying to shift Wilder-Fury tickets.

So you don’t know how to use it. Gotcha.Wilder's camp said it was the biggest fight of the year .. the Hearn and Joshua haters have continually rammed that point home, even talksport (owned by sky) have tried to claim that, but clearly that isn't the case and it's already being proven by touts selling tickets for less than their purchase price when it's still over a month away from the fight.
The Mayweather McGregor fight overpriced their tickets, the touts screwed themselves over and ended up taking big losses for a fight that had a massive promotional tour and featured the two biggest stars in their respective sports. It was a con job with both Mayweather and McGregor saying whatever they needed to convince fans to waste their money, and that's what Wilder's camp has tried to do with the Fury fight but the interest in that is only going to be "huge" if it's tied to an Anthony Joshua unification matchup.
The fact they can't see that highlights how shitty a manager Finkel truly is.
If you wanna get hung up on terminology, go ahead.Comment

The fans of this fight are in full damage control. It's not a good look to have tickets half the price they were.Comment

It's a shame the tickets aren't selling better, but that might change once they announce a solid Mexican name on the undercard. I hate ticket touts and hope they all die via butt****. This is a really good fight, hope it does well but if not it'll be rich dudes or tout scum losing money not normal people. They should've announced a good undercard weeks ago.Comment

Count the tickets , do the math. Thats not even 10% of the full event. And people in here yelling "losses". Still. Plenty of time to the event.Comment

Why would some company pay you just to post "the truth" unless they had some vested interest in what version - or whose version - of "the truth" you were posting?I am team truth. It wouldn't be appropriate to allow my affiliation with DAZN to influence my posts here. The company that pays me to post here pays me to post the truth. I don't allow my other business interests to interfere with my posts. I'm defending PBC in this instance because there was a thread blatantly lying about how well tickets were selling. Anybody can count the number of tickets that are left and easily see that over half the tickets in the arena have sold.
What's in it for them?Last edited by kafkod; 10-22-2018, 09:34 AM.Comment

Yeah, that makes sense. My job is driving forklift trucks and tow tractors. My employees don't mind at all if I bring a couple of mates to work with me and hand them the keys to the vehicles so thay can have a bit of fun driving around in them while I'm on my break.
