Once he's done with Fury, whether it's one or two fights, or even a trilogy, then AJ will enter into the picture again. But the time to make the fight was 2018. Wilder was willing to roll the dice. Hearn wasn't. Life goes on. Hard to blame Hearn for not wanting to roll the dice though when AJ was so important for DAZN. Imagine if on 9/22 Wilder had knocked out AJ and taken all the belts. Would have been a disaster. Hearn taking that risk would have been insane.
U have a good point there buddy

If Fury wins there will be a rematch so Hearn might as well make a different fight for April. Whyte rematch, Miller or the winner of Pulev/Hughie are all options.

Hearn sounds like a salty teenage girl, mad her boyfriend ****** another chick. Its so pathetic he is jealous all the attention is on wilder-fury right now and is jumping up and down screaming look at me look at me.

Where did Hearn say it wouldn't be next? It looks like you're presuming to me.

Like i said who turns down 50 million after you demand 50 million for a fight... They called AJ's bluff he had a good poker face.Only a coward and an idiot slave boy listening to his white slave master tell him he's not ready.. Eddie is running scared with AJ. Eddie hoping wilder slows down before he sends his precious little girl to fight a real fighter with the ability to end him

            • Besides an old mayweather an ggg an lara. Canelo hasn't fought any good fighter only tune ups an old over the hill fighters the three names i mentioned at the top beat canelo but unfortanately when your a cash cow they'll buy the fights for you regardless of how you showcase your skills that night. Lara absolutely embarrassed canelo just like mayweather. Yall seen wat happened with ggg first fight a draw an canelo wins second because he didn't run. I blame Abel Sanchez for talking about he ran then you run the second fight or box is what they call it. But back to the lecture what prime champs have canelo engaged with. Amir Khan ha ha ha. Beefy Liam cmon man an now he's fighting a regular champ who nobody knows once again. An he's our middleweight champ.

Hearn's version of events is that the contract made no mention of dates because he needed a few days to finalize a date, but that the WBA stepped in during those few days he needed.

The problem is that the Povetkin fight wasn't signed for another 10 days, so there was plenty of time to sign the Wilder fight had Hearn really wanted to. There's no way the WBA would have stripped AJ had Hearn given Wilder a date within the promised time frame. Hearn clearly used the WBA as an excuse to fight Povetkin next.

So Hearn didn't put no date as to make the Wilder fight after Povetkin its because he was waiting for it. So Wilder could've signed. WBA demanded Povetkin because Wilder fight was going nowhere. WBA announced Mando so AJ had to fight Pov next and finalised deal few days after, Wilder was not an allowable option after WBA called Mando regardless of the deal between Povetkin and AJ. AJ could have been stripped if Wilder said 50/50 or no deal and since he takes so long to reply he showed himself unreliable.

Just for note you have made theories that the WBA are conspiring and that Hearn kept a date secret when he had it. You don't have evidence/proof of these so you have made that up.

That's a lie. Terms were agreed to. Wilder was signing that week. Hearn just asked for a few days to give him the date. A few days went by and Hearn admitted he'd decided to go with Povetkin first, but he was willing to honor the terms and sign for a fight in April.

Wilder felt bait & switched, so he refused.

The WBA "order" had no teeth because Wilder was scheduled to sign that Friday and the WBA couldn't strip without a purse bid first. So there was plenty of time. If Hearn wanted the Wilder fight next, it would have been next. Plain and simple. Why not just be honest and admit that Hearn is a smart business man and it would have been a ****** business decision to fight Wilder before Povetkin? There's nothing wrong with what Hearn did.

Hearn was quoted saying they could probably sneak one more fight in next during all of this. He first said September is out because of the GGG/Canelo fight, but guess what, they fought Povetkin in September, so just another lie.
Then came the 24hr mandatory BS so it was a rush after asking for a date and venue. All smoke and mirrors where he never planned to fight that year. Turning down $50 million guaranteed? Come on man.

Hearn is still putting out the illusion he wants the fight, but at least the smart people see through it. Wilder did the perfect thing lining up Fury, now Hearn can't stand it.
