IF You STILL do not have a SMART TV with app accessibility & do not know how to download apps... Do us all a favor & kill yourself it's for the better of the human race.

I understand that here it's a bubble, which is why I say if you want more fans you have to put on more shows.
What is the point of getting the people excited about Andrade, if he's gonna sit on the shelf for 10 months or a year? Dude should be fighting again in December, in March, in June etc. Keep him active and more people will know him and by extension espn+ pbc, and dazn

Most news outlets mentioned DAZN as an afterthought if it was mentioned at all.

People keep bringing up it's only $9.99. That's nice. The price is not the problem tho. Now you gotta get people to commit to it. And that's not just casuals it's hardcore boxing fans.
This is gonna take time doe. When big fights were showing up on HBO I doubt all boxing fans got HBO right off. It was a gradual build. So the point being made here isn't so much a point DAZN or boxing fans or anyone else is gonna find eye opening as its just stating the obvious.

DAZN obviously gots to market their product to boxing fans more, to casual boxing fans when that May Canelo fight comes around & when they got more to offer to sports fans at large.

HBO had much more to offer than boxing. Was boxing even the main target HBO was goin for in the 80s and 90s? For a couple of dollars you got the new movies, comedy and music concert specials, television series, documentaries and boxing.

With DAZN you get just ... boxing and some Bellator telecast.

They weren't just getting boxing they're gettin boxing and all those othet things. Eddie Murphy stand up comedy shows, music concerts from Michael Jackson, documentaries on various topics, the Sopranos and I get to watch boxing on Saturday Night at least 2 times a month. Sign me up.

This probably works better if it is a stand alone app like UFC or WWE that way they can go all in with the various other programing.

Who's saying its good doe? Its not that serious. Its just a thing. A new product, DAZN in this case, takes time to grow.

And if not for DAZN this fight has ZERO US viewers cuz it woulda been on BoxNation or some Frankie Warren UK TV vehicle. Unless another US streaming platform, ESPN+ had bought it & then you got the same problem you're talking about with 25k people watching it.

And I mean how many people watched Foreman vs Frazier live when HBO randomly at the time got into boxing? Was that bad for US boxing that so few had HBO back then & saw that fight live?

            Time are a changing.

Whats that got to do with the topic of discussion?

The alleged problem is few US fans got to watch fights when HBO was the new kid on the street. That woulda been the problem back in the day with Foreman vs Frazier (their first fight) cuz boxing fans weren't necessarily aware of HBO or likely to get this new channel that was showing boxing out of the blue.

Sh^t man early HBO wasn't even like current HBO if you had it back in the day. HBO went off air ffs lmfao. It wasn't even a 24/7/365 channel brother. Who the f#ck was paying more money for a part time channel back then??? So its not really that different a comparison. And look how that turned out. HBO became synonymous with not just boxing, but the best of boxing.

I wonder if this big push for "cutting the cord" and moving everything to streaming services is a ploy to get smart TV's into more homes?

The NSA domestic spying program would love access to that along with XBOX One and Alexa etc.
