I have to agree, at some point that is going to piss Oscar off.

Hearn has creative control, but he needs to be careful with how he manages the different egos, or his house will turn into a mess

It'll be interesting to see how this contract plays out. 11 fights is alot of fights and since canelo is guaranteed so much $, I doubt they'd want to hurt his market value by putting him in a situation where he could lose one of his first 3 fights under the contract. I wonder how long before we see him vs a charlo or a jacobs /Sergiy winner, or an Andrade or saunders (after suspension) . We're possibly going to see alot more rocky fielding quality fights than fans would like over those 11 fights.

Let's hope the sanctioning bodies enforce mandatories and we don't get stuck with that.

That's no surprise, DAZN has the MW division locked down (Canelo - WBA Super, WBC, IBO, TBRB, RING, Lineal), Andrade (WBO), and Jacobs (IBF). They could probably get Brant (WBA Regular) on there pretty easily and Golovkin to DAZN seems like a no-brainer.

DAZN's also got Lemieux and Munguia.

They don't have much going on in other divisions besides Joshua, but they've done well at MW. Sucks for Jermall Charlo. He's gotta hope either Derevyanchenko can upset Jacobs or Jacobs comes back to PBC.

If he does the match matching with DAZN then indirectly he is canelos boss. Same thing like HBO. The person in charge tells Oscar his options and then Oscar tells Canelo. He kinda sold his soul. Cuz DAZN paid alot of money they are not going to throw him cupcake fights for that kind of money. The days of him knocking out Khans are gone. He got Jacob's and Bobo to fight which are under match room

Canelo signed with a network. The network picks the fights. If they don't like the fight they can just say this is not part of our 11 fight deal. They sold their soul with this bs. It's like a album deal in the music industry. Lil Wayne vs Birdman.
