He is a promoter. Their job is to lie to you. People who listen to promoters are damn dumb as hell. Where does boxing's dirty history come from? 2018 fans still listen to promoters and believe every word they say. Even the stuff they don't say and only allude to.

Truth is it's a struggle for many fans to spend money on subscription,
on a network that only shows one fight per month.
Sometimes there is not even one.
All boxing fans wish they can have all the fights they want in one network, platform, whatever you call it,
and be able to watch fights every week,
not effing every month or 2.
I don't think you can attract subscribers with this horrible setup.

Some people get so salty about Eddie Hearn. He is taking over the sport despite all the naysayers doubting he could impact the American market.

Whether people like him or not he is here to stay and will be the dominant promoter for years to come.

I sure hope he doesn't take over boxing. If boxing is ran on some app that nobody has ever heard of, then we're screwed.

The show in Boston tonight wasn't well attended, but it was a good show. I'm glad I made the trip.

hes a business man and does lie alot but from what I see; he can throw a baby off a bridge and his fans will find a way to flip it and make it positive or ignore it and talk about his success. No matter what lie he tells and how blatant it is they will not care. He has them wrapped around his finger and they come in droves to call you jealous for seeing the lie.... thats the issue, not that he lies...

My only agenda is truth. Yes, Arum said it too and Arum is just as big a liar as Hearn. When I point out what a skilled liar Hearn is, I almost always mention that he's simply following in the great tradition of Bob Arum, Don King, etc. Hearn lying nonstop is nothing unique. All promoters do it. It's an essential part of their job.

The difference is that in the US, it's been well known and accepted by the public for 50 years that promoters are completely full of **** and not to trust anything they say. Yet for some reason, with AJ fans, they'll constantly point to things Hearn says as if something is automatically true because Hearn said it. Crawford fans aren't nearly as bad about that as AJ fans, so I don't have to point out nearly as often what a liar Arum is, even though he's just as big a liar as Hearn.

That's a lie. Showtime has no out clause and wouldn't have had the leverage to negotiate one even if they wanted to. FOX was willing to pay for the entire PBC package. Only out of loyalty did Haymon make sure to carve out 12 dates for Showtime each year.
