The eileder alvarez situation is another clear example of Sulaiman's bias towards fighter (which we all have ) and how it effects the title situation as a whole.
who did he destroy though? some handicapped fighters and bums. wbc's eyes just got too big for their belly and they handed him an easy road when they had bigger stars like canelo and ggg that could be their champions. now they are like whoops lets try to get that undercard charlo out of here so we can collect that money!

Charlo vs Lemieux would be a decent scrap for as long as it lasts. It's not like Charlo has anyone else to fight at this point.

Yes his status has changed. He was the mandatory for the winner of the Golovkin Canelo fight and now he isn't. He has to fight again to get back to where he was. That is a clear case of a ranking change. If he wants to fight Golovkin fine that's his choice. But the WBC should not be allowed to get away with this. Whether Golovkin fights him or choses to fight Murata instead is another issue entirely and will generate a lively debate. There is a very real possibility that he could lose against Golovkin if they fought and that would cost him millions of dollars. The point is he is getting screwed.

nope, that was a ruling change, according to the WBC rules

Charlo shouldn't have to fight anyone to get his shot at Canelo...that's if the wbc stuck to their rules and rankings.

Look how long GG had to wait to get to Canelo, you think Charlo is getting that fight any time soon ? He should try calling when he’s 36
