The conversion is an easy sell, especially to a sport bar.
Set up for both ESPN+ and DAZN can be done in 10 minutes and for a lot less than PPV.

It's not as easy as it looks. Legal rights and fees come into play.
Bars pay a fee for a PPV and plus there are multiple TVs at a bar. Each TV js gonna have to have this setup, ect.

And is a bar gonna charge head for a $5 or $10 fight? Can't really do that anymore.

We will see really soon as Canelo fights again in less than 2 months now.

Yep, its funny though cos the network is £9.99 here in the UK and you still get Sky Sports trying to show the PPVs on Box office for £14.99-19.99. Who's going to do that when they can get everything for £10 a month.

I think the fact that U.K PPV isn't as expensive compare to the U.S.A makes DAZN a more viable option for fans over there.

Do you all realize that WWE still puts on massive PPV events? Lol they've done 11 this year with 4 more to go.

They have 6 primary revenue streams:
1.Streaming (smallest bucket but very consistent cash flow)
2. TV content deals (largest bucket consistent bucket)
3. PPV (key revenue driver and results in massive swings in revenue)
4. TV show/movie production deals (another consistent but short window stream)
5. Ticket sales
6. Endorsement deals

This is literally the business model for both UFC and WWE.

Streaming is a cashflow generator that will continue to become more important but it is not where either of these businesses make their bones.

I keep explaining this lol. DAZN is going after ESPN's subscribers. PPV isn't going anywhere. PPV is a byproduct of "event combat sports"
Equivalent to a superbowl like production.

I know far more about wwe then the average 30 year old should tbh. They still have “ppvs” but it’s not a big source of revenue for them in countries where the network is active, such as the U.K. and America.
