The build up would get a lot of interest, they would market it like Khabib was able to do to Conner what Floyd also did so now it's time to see who's the best and casual fans would eat that ***** up.

It was Conor who delivered to Floyd that crazy payday, Khabib is just not that much of a name for that. It could be an interesting fight from a sportsmanship perspective (since Floyd is old and all), but Floyd is so much past "sportsmanship" that only $$$ can draw him out of his retirement. And that's just not going to happen... If Floyd wanted to fight for the sake of a fight he could have tried GGG at 154. That would be fun and deliver bigger numbers than Khabib at least.

I probably wouldn't tune in to watch Floyd vs Pacman II but someone would. I don't think either of them should be fighting prime champs now. Why? They are way past it, they earned their right to just make money at this point. If Floyd truly was confident and wanted to make $200mil he'd fought Canelo, but I think we can all agree that Canelo at this stage would demolish Floyd.

Floyd knows how to make money, and has always been good at predicting how much money he would make. His $200 million prediction for fighting Khabib might sound crazy, but it's actually very believable.

Interesting take, these are good points. I still think that the promotion will be boring because of Khabib, but the fight should be fun. And it might well eclipse Conor`s. I feel Conor's star is in decline now and Khabib might be the next UFC golden boy. Still doubt he will beat Floyd though.
