Canelo fought the "boogeyman" twice, once to a draw and once a win, and now hes moving up his 3rd division for a belt against weakest SMW champion.

Spence would be coming off fights with Ocampo and Lamont Peterson - who??? If Spence took a fight against weakest JMW it would still be an improvement over the guys hes been fighting and the extensive bouts of inactivity.

I get Canelo is fighting a stay busy fight for a worthless trinket after a tough fight with Gennady, but I responding to Blaster who said he wanted Spence to move up if he can’t get a decent fight

Charlo besides the fact trains with Spence is probably gearing up for a Hurd fight in 2019 for 3 straps so either aren’t a option for Spence. Mungia is aligned with GB who they’re are trying to build his profile so that fight isn’t happening

I doubt Lara would take that fight after the Hurd fight when I believe he has a eliminator lined up

Brook probably isn’t a option as long as he’s chasing A Khan fight

So The only remaining options is the sh.it 2nd tier WBA strap held by Castano if Spence wanted a strap or he’d be fighting a 2nd tier 154 that no body would be interested in like a Trout, Hatley, Soro

Why wouldn’t he stay at WW and fight a somewhat decent name until Porter , Thurman happen

Yeah agree. Thats legacy fights... So far none of these 2 have a good fight, other than Brook for Crawford.

Gamboa was a good fight and so were the two unification bouts for Crawford. Spence has Brook and that is about it for either guy.

I see some posters saying it will be porter... There is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY porter fights spence next. He has been avoiding spence for years, he lost to thurman and it took him a long time to get a strap back around his waist. There is no way the porters risk losing the strap in tje next fight after just winning it. There is no doubt in my mind that porter will fight thurman in the rematch before he ever fights spence.

Its pretty pathetic that its fighters in lower weight classes that are calling out spence. They might be FOS but they are calling him out. None of the ww champs want to unify with spence. Its fkn PATHETIC!
