Yeah agree. Thats legacy fights... So far none of these 2 have a good fight, other than Brook for Crawford.

Agree there is a lot of good names at 154 but because of the nature of boxing with alliances , friendships all the strap holders are out of the question right now and probably in the foreseeable future

That probably leaves a 2nd or 3rd tier names Spence would fight next at 154 in 2019

. Might as well stay at WW and hope Porter accepts a fight , see if Thurman comes back from the dead or if hell freezes over and Arum actually Tries and make a Bud / Spence fight sometime in 2019 IMO

It is Porter. The reason Spence said it will probably be a couple weeks, is because the WBC ordered a Porter-Thurman fight last week. They have 30 days (as of last week) to reach a deal before a purse bid is ordered. Thurman is still saying he is going to return to boxing some time, but he is still saying he is going to fight a tune-up before Porter. Once Thurman pulls out and vacates his champion-in-recess, then a Spence-Porter unification will be announced.

It has been so long because Spence-Mikey was supposed to be on ppv in December. When Wilder-Fury got made for ppv in December, that prevented a Spence-Mikey ppv for December. And Spence was only going to fight in December because the Porter-Danny Garcia winner wouldn't be ready after fighting in September. With Spence pushed back til next year, that will give Porter enough time off.
