So basically are you guys saying that Lomachenko fans believe he is prejudiced against whites? Is the reason for the backlash against him?

Crawford is easily a top 3 welter until someone proves otherwise. Thurman is retired until he proves otherwise. Spence imo is the best, but hasn't proved it yet.
PFP rankings are opinions, not wirth arguing about.
If you don't see Crawford as a top talent I question your knowledge of the sport.

Every poster is an individual with a mind and thoughts and opinions of their own. No two of them think exactly alike or post exactly the same thing so there is no simple answer to your question. Not everyone has turned on Crawford and many on here strongly support him and insist he is number 1 PFP. When a boxer is very good and get good reviews and has lots of fans he usually gets lots of hate too. It comes with being so good. Nobody usually bothers to trash better than average fighters. It's the best ones who get most of the hate. Look at GGG. A hell of a fighter who was undefeated until Canelo edged him out in Vegas. GGG once KOed 23 fighters in a row. He had 20 successful title defenses and was as exciting in the ring as any boxer and yet he was and still probably is the most hated boxer on here. Speaking only for myself I like Crawford and rate him highly but not number 1 PFP as a welterweight. I have him number 5 PFP because I think there are 4 boxers a bit better than him PFP. I have not turned on him.

Yea, now that makes plenty of sense. Now that's a reason I can understand and feel like it is justified.

Wow! That is unbelievable. I never heard that before. I had no idea that he would bring up the topic of race on losing to Lomachenko for best fighter of the year. That really caught me by surprise.

He didn't bring it up. But it was taken that way by people.

Just to be clear I rank Crawford 5th PFP compared to all boxers of all weight classes. In the strong deep welterweight division I rank Crawford as the 2nd best welterweight in the world right behind Spence. I might be bias because Spence is a top favorite of mine along with Canelo and GGG.

That is news to me. In the media, Crawford has always been perceived as this sweet, quiet soft-spoken individual with a very likeable personality. Not once has he ever struck me as being one of these loud, outspoken and conscious American fighters like Bernard Hopkins. So what you are saying is, all of this stems from a misunderstanding?
