Why has this forum turned against Terence Bud Crawford?

I ask this question because at one point, he was a fan favorite among non stop boxing posters but lately boxing fans are beginning to trash and turn on him?

    Why? What has he done?

think people are fed up of him fighting weak opponents, hes 31 now. we all thought he was moving up to welterweight to test himself, instead his opposition has got worse and by all accounts it sounds as if its going to continue that way

Because people root for promotional & which company a fighter represents for some reason... & "Bud" should be fighting for the PBC because YOU KNOW WHY...

Truth is even a one Sergio Martinez version of Benavidez would have beat 90% of the PBC (scared to fight eachother WW roster. (Obviously not Keef & Porter doe)

that's what happens when a one legged guy not ranked in the top 30 makes it to round 12. lol. didn't Charlo also beat a cripple and got flack for it. well no different here. Crawford showed vulnerability. but that's a good thing since now other top welters will smell blood and start calling him out giving us the fights we want.

He's done nothing wrong. Politics kills the big fights for him is all.

If any of the PBC guys want it those fights can be made. Bob consistently proves he’s willing to work with other promoters if the fight makes sense. Just look at Loma’s last two fights...

Competition that wasn't good enough either... But Crawford is surrounded by good fighters in his division and he signed for a guy who feeds him bums instead

Don't think he's been turned against, just think people are no longer hyping him up because of the level of opposition he's faced. Definitely a p4p top 5 fighter, but we all know he needs big names on his resume to truly prove how good he is.

It's frustrating for us fans that despite him being so good and in his prime, out of all his opponents the one who has achieved the most in the sport is Ricky Burns!

He needs to try to unify in this 147 division.
