Why is anyone praising Samuel Peter for his fight with Wlad? He only looked good when he cheated...

Wlad seriously dominated that fight, those blows to the back of the head were intentional and illegal. If anything Wlad should have won by a larger margin, theres no reason to let a boxer get punched in the back of the head so many times. Hell the judges and ref were very generous to Peter, it wasn't a close fight at all.

The has excelent power and a granite chin, but his style and method is greatly flawed. He lacks the sweet sceince in every sense.

He is awesome to watch though, great entertainment value.

If Peter gets his conditioning down he'll stop Wlad.

The only reason Wlad survived that fight was because Peter was too out of gas to put a combo together. Even with single punc-at-a-time power shots he dropped him 3 times.

And he followed it with a big right hand that gradually wore Peter down, swoll him up and bloodied him until he was just done. But give Peter credit for putting Wlad down late (the one legit knockdown). Peter still matches up with Wlad better than anyone else in the division, simply because of his chin and his power- he'll always have a punchers chance against anybody.

Exactly, but arguing with bozo is useless. This guy actually posted a gif of Peters three KD's and said they were all legal. The gifs only convinced me more of how illegal it was.

Wlad got hit where he did because of his excessive hanging on and hugging....he is lucky he was not penilized for that ****....Peter showed he has a great chin in that fight and that it is going to take alot to beat him thats why.....

clinching is apart of the game, it helps gain some time if your in trouble and can wear your opponent down. Its been apart of the game since the game was THE game!

Peter was one combo away from stopping the fight in the 5th round, but he was completely out of gas. He spent everything he had because he was poorly conditioned.

Even later in the fight he scored another KD and had Wlad on ***** street but he couldn't put any punches together. All he could do was load up a shot at a time.


Peter was completely out of gas after the 5th round. If he was conditioned and could have put punches together, he could have easilly won that fight with how badly he had Wlad hurt.

You illustate over and over again that you have no idea of what you're talking about.

Wlad had no legs because he was stunned and he was stumbling all over. He was wildly turning away from punches, and at one point was (at 6'6) trying to grab Peter around his waste.


Every knock down in that fight was legit, and in each case Wlad was hurt with no legs under him.

The referee was RIGHT THERE and saw the entire thing.

You really need to get over it. Wlad was down three times legitimatly.

You are right and getting hit in the back of the head while ducking and trying to hug is also part of the game....protect yourself at all times.

Watch first kd, clear push down, second kd, push down with a hit on a back of the head.
