After Benavidez who does Crawford fight next?

I thought he was Porter's #2 in line guy, but saw some thread title a couple days ago that suggested Porter gots Berto & then Thurman lined up so maybe he is.
At this point, as I seem to have to say about every Spence fight lately, I'll just be somewhat glad to see him fight Ugas or anyone. Just f#cking fight someone. Spence is out of the ring to long between fights. Getting ******ed now that he's got a belt.Comment

What was the Ugas vs Robinson fight for? Ugas just does eliminators for ****s n giggles?I thought he was Porter's, but saw some thread title a couple days ago that suggested Porter gots Berto & then Thurman lined up so maybe he is.

i agree it would be tough for brook to get to 47. That being said, Khan fought Lo Greco at 150. He should fight brook at 150 too. He has the height and frame for it.
I get crawford world fight brook at 150Comment

What in the mf!!! The IBF have ordered Kudratillo Abdukakhorov v Jessie Vargas, a welterweight final eliminator for Spence's next mandatory. [@*********]

Egidijus Kavaliauskas v Roberto Arriaza is set for Nov 16th, a WBO welterweight final eliminator for Crawford's next mandatory. [@ESPN]
Although in fairness that Abduqaxorov isn't half bad. I think he'll probably beat Vargas...problem is its still a fight no one gives a f#ck about which is often my problem with these mando/elimination fights when neither guy really stands out as a top guy. Abduqaxorov actually gots some solid W's & Vargas has fought a lot of solid guys, but the fact these guys will be fighting for a mando shot is a lil insane as always with ABC Groups bs.Comment

Same thing the Barrionuevo fight was for I think. I think he's fought eliminators or w/e the f#ck fights for multiple ABC Groups. WBC Guy specifically said he was the #2 mando for Porter's belt just a couple weeks ago with Thurman having a get a title shot for free card to pull at any time.
If anything I suspect WBC Guy leaving Ugas out a couple days back have me thinking Spence vs Ugas might be some bs keep busy fight for Spence thats in the works hence WBC Guy leaving him out of the mando wait list for Porter.Comment

I'm gonna go with (a) I don't see him wanting itThis may be a stretch, but Danny Garcia is now going to have a wait a long time before getting a rematch with either Thurman or Porter. If he wants a major title shot, Crawford would likely be the shortest path providing (a) he even wants that fight (b) Haymon and Arum can work together to get it made. This is a fight that can be made in early 2019 if everyone is on board. They can easily pack Barclays.Comment

None of those fights are the big fights the fans want to see and people will continue to not give him credit. On the Top Rank side things aren't as bleak as people are portraying. Sure, it's going to be hard to get a Spence or Thurman fight but as you say Adames looks the part and maybe in 12-18 months that will be a good opponent.
Ramirez won't be at 140 forever. Maybe he fights Saucedo and then the winner is a very attractive option. Same for the winner of the WBSS. The winner will likely be an undefeated unified champion with some star power too if it's Taylor or Prograis.
As far as Bud's next immediate fight? It's likely to be Kavaliauskas I guess or if the WBO enforce a mandatory Calyton. Kavaliauskas isn't a big name nor does he have a following but he's a pretty good fighter but obviously time is coming for Bud to fight a "name" opponent and it's hard to imagine folks being too enthused by a fight like that.
I just hope it's a quick turnaround from this fight to the next because some of those 140 champions will be available in the summer and beyond if no deal can be worked with Haymon.Comment
