WBC wants Wilder/Fury winner facing Joshua!

Anthony Joshua WILL face winner of Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder after WBC ‘orders unification clash’

Organisation's president Mauricio Sulaiman also says he would love the fight to take place in front of 90,000 fans 'in a stadium'

ANTHONY JOSHUA'S "ultimate heavyweight fight" against Deontay Wilder has moved a step closer after the WBC "ordered the bout".

The two boxers have been at loggerheads over the final details for a unification blockbuster for months now, despite the boxing public demanding the showdown.

The WBC are desperate to see Anthony Joshua fight the WBC champion for 'all the belts'

"That's a fight the WBC has just ruled to support. During our convention, a ruling of the mandatory status included the provision of trying to make the winner of Fury-Wilder against Joshua.

"I'm not certain about any contract. That's a private agreement.

"But the WBC is of course the one that orders the fights, so our position is that we want to see the ultimate heavyweight fight, which involves Joshua and involves the WBC champion."

AJ has maintained that if Wilder wants the fight, he would prefer it to happen in the UK - not least because the Watford man could guarantee a stadium sell-out.

And Sulaiman can see Joshua and his Matchroom's team's point that the UK would "sell it'" better than the US.

He added: "To see boxing with 90,000 fans, regardless which country you're in, has to be a great motivation which shows the moment that is being lived in the UK, in England, with Joshua.

"I much rather see fights in stadiums than in casinos. I like to see the fans at the arenas."

How is that Breazeale "Litigation" going against the WBC? According to them they would get sued by him if he wasn't given the mandatory shot.

Since when did a sanctioning body ever order a unification? Has this ever happened?

I see a lot of quotes, but no source

Team Joshua have already sent s contract over. I don't get why people think they need to be forced to fight, they've sent a deal over and are looking to meet but Shirley winkle won't discuss the fight

The WBC can only encourage the fight, they can hold back mandatories.... they CAN'T order a unification.

Where did you get those quotes from? FAKE NEWS unless you provide a credible source.

There is no quote like that in this article, just that the WBC will support it.

Lmao why are you UK/Hearn fans so concerned about Breazeale? Why do you’ll care about him so much? UK fans want Wilder to face him so bad just so you’ll can criticize the fight. He was a good opponent for Joshua until you’ll heard he was going to face Wilder, then he became a bum. You UK fans were wrong when you all said he’d be fighting Breazele instead of Fury. Just give it up already.

He has a big fight with Fury coming up. Why in the world would he sign any fight contract? That would just be plain ******. It just shows you what type of person Eddie is, people like that don’t last at the top too long.

The WBC told us he was fighting Wilder next, i couldn't careless about the rest of your post. My post is directed at a specific poster who claimed Wilder had to fight breazeale next or the WBC would be sued..
