Rocky is in Wilders seat for this deal but doesn't get greedy and makes a simple deal fast and quick.

Why does wilder duck every opportunity to get some respect from the boxing public ?
          Nah....

Maybe consider Hearn is in the middle of trying to woo Golden Boy and Alvarez to DAZN. He has to play nice in order to stay in their good graces. Fielding will get what Gomez offered. Hearn saying he didn't get greedy means he didn't counter their offer.

Zero comparison to the Joshua Wilder situation although fan boys will try and make it out to be.

Ortiz was a great "opportunity" to get some "respect" from the "boxing public".

I find it hard to believe any pure fan of the sport believes that comparison to be legitimate. It's a cute dig at Wilder, but nothing more.

“We negotiated very quickly. Look, it’s always your job to get the max for your fighter, but you can’t get too greedy in that instance because it’s easy for them to go elsewhere. So we spoke to Rocky Fielding, we spoke to MTK, we came up with a package that we wanted and, you know, we got it. And, you know, again, it’s like a dream come true for Rocky Fielding.”

You could have made the Wilder fight that easy too. AJ said you give me 50 million I'll sign tomorrow lol haha I mean there is literally a video of him saying that

Anyways forget about FACTS let's stay on topic. This is a great opportunity for Rocky he can raise his profile big time if he were to upset Canelo.

I understand the people who criticize these types of "no hope" matchups BUT if every fight was 50-50 how would we ever see any huge upsets in the sport. I get that it's not a high profile fight but aye a win could change Rocky's life forever.

Rocky will feel a lot better than the last time he was KOd. Good for him, but I don't want to see it. Definately not PPV.

This isn't even an 80-20 fight. This is a bum fighting a guy who can't even beat the real 160 pound champion after cheating. For a belt no one gives a **** about.
