I'm convinced he could sign up for an amir khan rematch and Canelo fans would find a reason to argue that it's a credible fight.
I think maybe Mayweather vs Berto? That fight pretty much checks all of your boxes. Biggest PPV star, check. Coming off biggest win, check. Then fights a huge underdog, check. Only thing that's in discussion may be that the WW division wasn't as loaded at the time as the current MW division.

Lmao! It's embarrassing how they have to try to legitimize every move EH makes even when they know in their hearts he's dead wrong.

The title should have been "Hearn: Negotiated Canelo-Fielding Deal Quickly; I Didn't Get Greddy FOR THIS ONE". With every statement this guy gives he makes Bob Arum look better and better. It's obvious that he wants CA to fight under DAZN and that's cool but don't try to make the signing of this fight seem like every fight will or should be this easy. FOH!

A fighter cannot beat Canelo by going for the knockout. Previous fighter that has tried for a knockout failed. BUT If a fighter wants to have a chance of beating Canelo. Box him with Jabs and speed just like mayweather did. Just Like Lara did, even though he got robbed. Just like Amir khan did. Khan was actually winning the fight before he got knocked out. All those 3 fighters boxed canelo with Jabs and speed. Golovkin kept the fight close with his Jabs. Thats Canelo's only weakness.

true. And I guess another maim difference is that Floyd was at the end of his career. Not 28 yrs old.

If he agreed to it he would of signed it.
