you're deviating from the point. Did he not fight several novice fighters when he was an undefeated world champion with 50 plus wins so he could pad his record? I'm not debating the wins vs other top fighters, but he had fights that shouldn't have even been sanctioned by any commission.Comment

Is anyone surprised by your ****** ass comments that demonstrate your a novice who knows fck all about boxing & hates on Mexican boxers apparently, while hanging off eastern eurobums nuts.
Chavez Jr is beyond a legend because he ducked nobody & gave everyone a shot including young lions & legends alike. What your ****** ass fails to realize is that in many of those yrs he fought up to 6x per yr,& back then fighters would regularly fight far more often than they do now,as well as used to have their promoters/sanctioning bodies pick opponents. Bottom line was Chavez Sr fought literally everyone there was to fight,he fought 6x the same yr he fought Whitaker.
Take your sorry ass back to school BOY.Comment

There is nothing wrong with having a soft touch or stay busy fight. EVERY fighter has had them in the HISTORY of the sportComment

ok, if my comment is ******, then prove me wrong. Are the records of this fighters that Chavez faced after his fights with Taylor and camacho false? Does he not have several fighters on his record that would be considered novices on his record after he was already an undefeated world champion? I know you guys like to praise Chavez as some sort of God, but facts are facts. If you can prove me wrong in that0 go ahead. If not, stfu and stop your sensitive whining.Comment

yes there are soft touches, like mayweather fighting berto after Pacquiao. Or pac fighting algieri. Or Oscar fighting Campas. Etc. But then there's fighting a guy with a 4-3 record when you're a 20 something year old undefeated world champion with 50 plus wins. That's beyond a soft touch. I didn't question who he's faced during his era, I just pointed out that of course he'd be ok with Canelo taking this fielding fight because he himself took much easier options in between bigger fights.Comment
