Not a fan of Canelo, but in all fairness, he deserve what could be an easy fight. After two fights with GGG. At least he is fighting a bit more regular even though he had a knee surgery as well.

Actually that's a good point. While Lemieux would be more interesting, he really doesn't bring much. He lost to Golovkin, got embarrassed by Saunders, holds no titles and little prestige. Fielding is probably similar kind of boxer but is in another division. Both are stay busy fights, but Fielding gets them something.

Well the guy made a good point. Why don’t you respond to what he said instead of just taking a cheap shot and calling him a name because he said something bad about Canelo. I think we can all agree Fielding is nowhere near Canelo level, I don’t think I’d even rate Fielding in the top 7 at 168. We all know his belt is phony just like the one GGG had that they use to start his tally of title defenses which is dumb. I guess you could say it deserves an asterisk since the super champ was Sturm and GGG didn’t everything he could to fight Sturm but they would t take the fight. However, just because he should’ve been able to fight Sturm and would’ve most likely beaten him and become Super Champ earlier than he did, that never happened so to start his # of defenses when he was regular champ is dumb

He may have made a valid argument but so did I. He has a history of hating on canelo like no other. The history is there just go back and read on canelo articles ans chances are high that this phag phag boom guy is in it spewing hatred toward canelo. Ok let's be real, does anyone expect Chavez to have a problem with Canelo fighting a bum? After 'beating" meldrick Taylor, Chavez fought a guy with a 5-3 record followed by a guy with a 4-3 record. After beating camacho he fought a guy with a 10-10 record. Compared to that, fielding may as well be a prime Roy Jones.

Not just 5 when you remove WBA Regular defenses he goes from 20 to just 9 nowhere near a record. Lol
