Berto??? Why? The WBC is awful. It just seems like they make up everything as they go along.

Berto vs Alexander was announced in advance as an eliminator. Berto and Alexander were both in the WBC top 10 and offered to fight each other.

Climbing sanctioning body rankings and becoming mandatory isn't rocket science. Find somebody in the rankings willing to face you and then pitch it to the sanctioning body as an eliminator. If everybody else in the top 10 is refusing to fight each other, it's a great way to gain a prominent position.

Thurman better get his sh** together real quick lol I know this isn't a popular decision but he should opt for a safer fight in his first attempt back from injury. I think Porter has the edge this time around because he's been more active. Oh well we'll see how it turns out.

The thing I don't like about all this is that both mandatories are rematches!! Then we could possibly even see a third match between Porter and Thurman if Porter wins. And after that it will be Berto lol So the only way to avoid that is a Thurman victory and then I guess that will put him against Berto

No interest in either. We've seen both. I'd prefer Berto to go away or fight Brandon Rios, prefer Thurman to be healthy and fight Crawford or Spence and prefer Porter fight up and coming challengers to see if they are the truth (pun intended).
