Maybe it's Wilder's fans that should pressure him to accept the improved contract he's been offered. AJ's fans are behind him, but do want the unification more than just another defence so the pressure's already on this side of the pond.
Truth is Hearn wants to give Finkel as little as possible, and Finkel wants to get as much as he possibly can. They need to be able to agree on a middle ground, so both have to make concessions you know, like most grown ups have to.
Date and venue's already in place for AJ's next fight, all he needs is for Wilder to sign up. Wouldn't mind seeing a rematch with Whyte in a year or so, but there's plenty of others I'd rather see 1st - Wilder being top of the list.
