I like this better than Lemieux actually. Not expecting Fielding to win or anything but he will have a definite size advantage over Canelo.

It's a stay busy fight, but I'm surprised it's at 168? Is he having trouble making 168?

I'd prefer to see Lemieux, at least you knew that's gonna be an interesting fight.

Real ones are we talking about the phony secondary ones when he wasn't the real WBA champ? Who cares about how many bum of the months he beat to defend the cracker jack belt. How many real opponents did he beat? And what happened to him once he finally fought real opponents? Oh yeah went from a killer to scared jabber and got his face broken. LMAO

You mad because GGG lied to you 154 or 168 doe. Meanwhile Canelo is about to be world champ at 154, 160 and 168. Canelo does what GGG lies to his fans about.

Still think GGG should "retire" and allow Charlo to be Clenelo's mandatory next year. Then make a "comeback" to fight the winner. Pull a page from Floyd's book.
That's a very unfair way of looking at this. Canelo is coming off 2 fights against a P4Per, one of the more dangerous fighters in the sport. He also just got cut in that fight. It's absolutely unrealistic to expect him to jump from 2 Golovkin fights into a fight with the winner of WBSS.

It's a weird choice since nobody knows who Fielding is and it's at 168. It's like when Eubank moved up to 168 to fight that bum for IBO 'belt'.

Forgot Rocky had a belt. This fight maybe about giving himself options vs being forced to fight the murderers row waiting for him at 160. Let some of them mfers fight each other, knock each other off a lil more lol.
If that’s the case I guess I could see that as well. GGG had such a lock on the division that beating him kind of left him alone at the top and the other guys are trying to establish themselves. Options are never bad and the guy has 50+ fights already and is still only 30. I’m sure a camp with an easy/negligible cut is welcome and it makes some of the other guys at 160 have to fight each other and become more viable paydays.

Canelo by KO of course. Now can GGG haters finally quit saying how much bigger GGG is than Canelo? Canelo can't keep both titles so he will probably return to 160. I am glad he is taking this fight instead of fighting Lemieux.
