I got no problem with this he is coming back on short turn around for a voluntary fight. Fans were crying about him whooping up on Lemieux which doesn't do anything for his legacy. Moving up in weight grabbing another strap adding another notch to his legacy as 3X world champ is more intriguing. And he's giving up a ton of weight and height. Plus it's a sneaky way to say to GGG and his fans because for over half a decade GGG kept saying he would fight at 168 and little Canelo after just 2 fights at 160 is doing it before GGG LMAO

I'm honestly shocked it isn't Lemieux. Like others have said, I'm fine with this as a stay busy fight, it's for a world title in his 3rd weight class. Canelo is obviously way better but Fielding is BIG. To me, the question will be what he does after the fight, go back to 160 or stay at 168?

Yea I'm surprised its not Lemieux too. I thought he was all but a lock for Canelo's next fight.

Forgot Rocky had a belt. This fight maybe about giving himself options vs being forced to fight the murderers row waiting for him at 160. Let some of them mfers fight each other, knock each other off a lil more lol.

Canelo moving up to win a title in a new weight class BEFORE GGG who said what 5 years ago 154 or 168. Canelo already fought above 160 against Chavez BEFORE GGG and now about to do what GGG never did win a title at 168.
