Several PBC fighters admitted at a recent press conference that filed numbers for PBC fights are bogus.
Hearn tried to sign a bunch of PBC stars, offering well beyond their filed purses, and they all laughed at him and said they were already making more than he was offering.
The head of Showtime Sports then went on Twitter to confirm they were already making more than Hearn was offering.
PBC fighters have posted pictures of checks which confirm their filed purse was bogus.
Showtime spends an average of approximately $5 million for each PBC event. Wilder is Showtime's biggest star, which would mean his events would cost well over the average.
Knowing the economics of the sport, if his event has a 6 or 7 million dollar license fee, throwing in the live gate, foreign TV, etc, it's absolutely illogical to believe he's only being paid 2 million.
Top fighters simply don't file their true purse. It's always been this way.

Originally posted by New England View Postthis idea that i've been some kind of wilder fanboy for years and years is an increidbly pathetic strawman. please accuse me of being a wilder fanboy more frequently, i need a laugh. i've been incredibnly critical of wilder's development and his resume. go back and dig up my posts. you'll find a theme in them. "he hardly know show to box." really, just google my name + bscene + hardlyknows how to box, and which threads come up?
that you relaly think that i am a fanboy of wilder, and that you are not a fanboyo of joshua or literally a fanboy of eddie hearn, is just laughable! it's laughable! you're not only guilty of being enamored iwth the only british HW champion in your lifetime to become a global star, but you're guilty of being enamored iwth his promoter to the point that you don't want big fights! it's f#cking weird!
the povetkin fight was criticized because it was an input by the WBA obviosuly at the request of hearn to get a fight in between joshya and wilder. this is not the firs titme that eddie has done this! he tried to make iwlder ifht dilliain white, FFS! he sent over an "offer" to wilder [obviously been proven to be a lowball, evidenced by the amunt of american money offered at another time, the subsequent shift to a purse split and a bigger offer by hearn, and a contengency on wilder beating fury, which will obviusly build a figh tin england,] made it contingent on being agreed to that week, and didn't have a date or a venue. he admitted this!
i fully expect you to have little to no idea what is going on in these negiations. your problem is that you believe every word from the mouth of eddie hearn, a man whjo is very inconsistent and who talks WAY TOO MUCH to not get caught lying.
do you believe eddie hearn wanted this fight in 2018? honest quesiton.
