In my opinion he doesn't really deserve a shot against either guy because his opposition was weak and he's been relatively inactive. The selection of his opponents was mandated by the WBC so I won't fault him on that. But it's not my opinion that decides his future. It's the WBC. They set down what was required to fight for the title. He did those things. Now they won't honor their part. He played the game following their rules. Now the WBC changes them. There are millions of dollars at stake here. I'm perplexed as to why real Charlo fans are not upset. If Golovkin is going to fight Charlo obviously it's better sooner than later because he is aging. If he beats Charlo then he could fight Canelo in the spring or he could just give up and fight in Japan and then retire.

This has been going on for generations & just cuz its happening again it only matters to the Triple L fans cuz ya'll don't want Triple L to lose. Triple L has received the same weak mandatories as the ones Jermall had to knock off to get to the ranks so why is it a problem when Nelo gets a easy defense when every champion has one time or another especially Triple L? I don't like the fake shet in boxing that's why I'm here jumpin on ya'll like flies on shet….LMMFAO! Especially if I pay for a PPV Event where one guy is just a hype machine, F that! I want to pay for quality opponents fighting each other. Don't you want quality for your buck?

The only fights I think are better are ggg vs Canelo, Jacobs and possibly bjs...all of who are probably tougher fights. I have no problem at all with ggg vs charlo, I do have a problem with the wbc doing what they did...regardless who it does or doesn't favour.

I actually agree with all of that...except the trash at the end. The problem I have is with the wbc moving the goal posts after this guy was already supposed to be their mandatory challenger. Sanctioning bodies should at least pretend like they act with integrity...this type of thing is why people think the sport is a joke.
