Wilder vs. Fury sells $1 mil worth of tickets in first 25 minutes

You’re aware Povetkin is older than Ortiz, right? He was forced. If he wanted to keep the title. If he dropped it he'd be a nobody and get 25% of the purse if he got in to a mandatory spot. He had no ****ing choice. He ran as fast as he could when presented with the opportunity to do so. Never went back and offered another fight like he did with 50 year old Ortiz.Comment

You mean when StubHub would buy all those tickets within minutes, right?;1 million worth of tickets... Let's say the average is 300 bucks given the prices of tickets available on AXS etc etc before the 200 brackets came out as evidenced by chrisJS not being able to find them.
That's what.. 3000 or so tickets? Isn't that normal after 3 days straight of pressers and circus antics?
Wake me up when it sells tens of thousands in minutes like a certain other HW can.
People concentrating on the million not what a really makes it. Doesn't even make 10% of one fighters supposed guarantee in the fight.
Flops on PPV. Get used to it.Comment

are you ******ed or what .... it's fight ticket sales not PPV.
Show me where you can buy the PPV broadcast now.
1 million tickets is not a lot for a big heavyweight fight in one day.
It's the other 8 million that needs to be sold.
Wake up ffsComment

Has it sold out? There's only 20k capacity so I'm assuming it's sold out? Joshua sells out stadiums in minutes .Comment

What has Hearn done wrong here?
🙏 Shelly Finkel has declared he is willing to reopen negotiations for Anthony Joshua v Deontay Wilder and meet Barry Hearn face to face in New York on October 6th/7th, but only if they first make a “real offer” to discuss. [@***************]

Decent numbers btw. Not insane numbers if we are comparing him to Joshua obviously, but great for them.Comment

and Warren is promoting too. He might not be the biggest promoter in the UK now but he has years of big fight experience, promoting guys like Hamed, Hatton, Calzaghe etc..all of which had some big fights in America.Comment
