I have to admit I never thought we would see him back in the ring never mind in a title fight

He deserves massive respect for getting himself back in fighting shape and his head right

Hopefully this fight hasn’t come too soon and we see a cracker

Fury: Nobody told you to get married to a vile twat. You have no reason to be depressed - a 6'9'' guy with millions of dollars has no reason to be depressed other than women-problems. Get rid of the skank, and live your life with the freedom you deserve to have. Soon as you get involved with chicks they can't stand you being happy in anything that doesn't involve them.

I think Fury can do it. Wilder is a basketball/nfl player, a manufactured fighter.
Tyson was born and bred to fight like a pitbull terrier. Although im not saying Fury fights like a pitbull.
Fury is the best Wilder has fought. I think Wilder might just fall short on this occasion. Wilder will lose oneday so nows a good time for Wilder to lose. Sure Fury will lose oneday also. But maybe not just yet.

I mean who the hell does he think he is? Trying to overcome depression and other such things...Lie down and die *****!!! Like the rest of us...that is the attitude and frankly it makes me feel bad for them.

Life is a process of overcoming obstacles, for Fury, for you, for me and everyone else. I celebrate what Fury has done and hope, win or lose it is not diminished.

Your comment about being "sick" was spot on, I could not think of a better word for it. I might use pathetic as well.
Very well said! Fury's mind and heart are in the right place and he believes in himself.

                This.

Beating Wilder is about more than self control (like beating drugs & alcohol is). A whole other type of fight Fury gots here. But w/e helps you mentally use it I guess.

There's no questioning Tyson Fury's perseverance of heart, will, mind and spirit. For him to even overcome all the things that he has put his body through and he's still around makes him one tough cookie in my opinion.

So therefore, I shall never call into question Fury's balls or heart but I must call into question his physical well-being. Science has proven that over a period of time, that a fast lifestyle will inevitably age the body.

Therefore, I don't expect his body to hold up or be at full strength against Wilder once his body starts absorbing trauma from him. His strategy is to run out the clock like he did against Klitschko and win on the scorecards.

The body can only take so much trauma before it slowly starts breaking down. That's what I expect in this fight. Undoubtedly Fury will have his moments but after a while, his body is going to slowly shut down and deteriorate to the point of Deontay catching him and knocking him out.

Fury is a huge man with huge personal demons and issues

Boxing Wilder is the least of Fury's personal demons the huge Fury has to deal with. Can Fury stay sober and still get into shape to take Wilders blows in America?? Probably.

You know its funny you and Red Foxx, two of my favorite posters here both believe some variation of this thought...Red I know your out here also, better reconstruct that wrasslin ring buddy, here I come....

To me the body is something we conduct mentally. I agree with Fury here that the mentality that can look these two horrendous conditions in the face is a lot stronger than a fight. Again, a lot of this is martial arts training and I guess living in a Buddhist monastery/community for a while. But this guy is young, he had stamina to spare before, I don't know I think hes right about this attitude.

All he really has to do is avoid a big punch for twelve rounds at the end of the day.
