Belts are meaningless unless it's the lineal title, undisputed title or ring title. Fury has the lineal , nobody is undisputed and AJ has the ring and as far as belts the WBC is the best and Deontay has that. It's pretty even.

I think the task will be too great for Fury.

He boxed well against Klit, and I think he's more skilled than Wilder. But a 12 round decision (can't see him stopping Wilder) in the US is a big ask. I think Wilder stops him, which is actually the outcome I want.

Nothing worst to kill the festive atmosphere than to have Joshua flat on his back in front of 80000 at Wembley (he ain't getting up Jim!). His fans don't want him to be unnecessarily challenged after just 22 fights, so they are happy to see him in exciting fights so long as he has little chance of losing. So he will continue to be kept away from Wilder, Fury and Ortiz until they fade (like Klitschko and Povetkin) or until he improves enough to have a chance of beating them.
