Destroying Vitali's face isn't a lucky escape . Lewis was old, out of shape, and busted your boy up on short notice. Lewis tried to fight everyone and was scared of nobody. The lucky one was Vitali to fight Lewis under such circumstances and he got stopped looking like the Terminator

Vitali is already in the HOF. A decision i disagree with. His resume just isn't good enough.

Resume, I can see, Lennox and C. Sanders were the two best he fought. Vitaly would have been 1,2,or 3 in any era. He was way more dominant than Vlad. No one wanted to fight him, 4yr lay off and held it for 4 more in the come back, he was no joke. And he held his own against Lewis.

As much as I was a fan of Lewis it was shaky fight for him, Vitali was an animal, Lewis was lucky to open up that eye. But nevertheless both gave boxing one of the best HW fights in our lifetime.

I agree, Vitali has a shot to beat anyone period. He’s tall, awkward, puts the pressure on, and has a good chin. Held his own or more against Lewis, but still he was the one who got split open real bad. Wish we got to see more of him.
