Destroying Vitali's face isn't a lucky escape . Lewis was old, out of shape, and busted your boy up on short notice. Lewis tried to fight everyone and was scared of nobody. The lucky one was Vitali to fight Lewis under such circumstances and he got stopped looking like the Terminator

My exact thought. It was like two mountains colliding, such a beautiful fight with so many nuclear bombs landed by both guys.

No way, Joshua vs Klitschko was better. Lewis vs Klitschko was great while it lasted but the ending was very anticlimactic and made worse because there never was a rematch.

Can never forget that Lewis uppercut in the 5th, I think. It was perfection and surely would have crumbled 99% of heaavyweights. Vitali's whiskers were maybe the greatest ever.

Why take 20 mil when it's time to retire? People say he ducked Vitili, but on the opposite end we bash guys who stick around for the paycheck.

That L did more for Vitali than any of his wins did. He looked bloody unstoppable. That image of him trying to convince the ref to let him continue wth his face all carved up...I don't think I was ever in awe of a performance of his again until he just DOMINATED Sam Peter after 3-4 years out of the ring.

                F-kin rookies these days.

I was at the event, Vitaliy was winning by points and you could not knock him out with a baseball bat, its Lenox who is LUCKY the fight was stopped else he would lose points. He is even more lucky he dod not accept the rematch.

Its still nice to see these two real heavy weight kings. Lenox is one of my fav boxers period.

That was a balls out heavyweight fight, one of the most intense I've ever watched. It was a great fight until Lennox filleted that eye open. Vitaly went on to be a dominant champion and Lennox retired on top
and is in the hall of fame. Vitaly should be there soon. Two truly great fighters.

Yes best whiskers, or a toss up between Vitaly and Oliver McCall.

Vitali is already in the HOF. A decision i disagree with. His resume just isn't good enough.
