Ortiz is down as being 39 actually. But we all know he's much older than that. Why do you think he has high blood pressure? Old people get that ****.

Ignorant rumours you say? I didn't know family members coming out on social media and claiming he's much older as being ignorant. But you know best don't you. Haha.

Crazy Americans always saying the opposite to what reality clearly is. It's a habit with you guys.

professional boxer amir mansour says he has it on very good authority from a former member of the cuban amateur that AT THE VERY YOUNGEST ortiz is just shy of 50 years old. i dont see why he would have any reason to make that up either.

Americans just talk crap and get everything backwards. Reading their nonsense whoever the fighter is makes me scratch my head. It's a habit for getting everything the wrong way round. They're also the biggest hypocrites out there and contradict themselves repeatedly. They're jokes and only there to be mocked. Nearly everything they write is pure madness.

ive made the point before but its getting ridiculous how people seem to be talking about ortiz being on some different skill level to joyce. ortiz fought in one international tournament and was 20 points behind after 3 rounds so they didnt even bother to finish the fight. joyce has won olympic silver (most thought he deserved gold), commonwealth gold, european gold, world championship bronze with a style that seems to translate well to the pros but its ortiz who is the more skilled one apparantly. just cause joyce looks a bit awkward at times they think he cant box yet hes arguably the most outstanding amateur in UK history.

I think Ortiz has the better defence and is technically better, but the size, stamina and work-rate of Joyce would prove too much. Ortiz is old as hell and just can't stick with a fight if there's a high pace. He'll crumble in 3-4 rounds tops. But Joyce wouldn't get any credit regardless of the Americans saying he'd destroy Joyce because the excuse would be that Wilder ruined him.

Lets hope this fight gets made soon to see Ortiz be exposed for what he is.

I thought the same thing. He cuts the ring off well but he is extremely easy to hit by the looks of it. Maybe it will be different when he fights someone who can actually can punch & give him problems. 33 so he needs to move fast. I expect Kevin Johnsonto be an opponent sometime in the near future after the Dubois fight. Joey Dawejko maybe Joey Abell? 2 tough guys with some pop...
