If Linares wants another tune-up he should try to avenge the DeMarco fight. He was winning the first fight pretty easy until the cut got the best of him.
DeMarco is fighting Maxim Dadashev next though. He probably isn't winning that one.

Linares could clean out this whole division unless Mikey or Lomachenko follow him up there.

When she said "Cotto was a legendary name", as if Abner is a legendary Cotto, it made me cringe. Not her fault she had to say that, but it was still lame.

Linares looks good at 140. Plenty fast and strong. A Lomachenko rematch is going to be another good one if it happens.

The final punch looked a bit behind the head, but it likely wouldn't have mattered if it missed. The class disparity was there for all to see.

I hope your joking man Linares would get killed by any of the champs at 140 hes too fragile, people made it seem like hes a killer because of tonights performance but don't forget Cotto has been KOed 2 times before at 130 against Fortuna and 135 against Figueroa in 1 round plus he looked like he came from a chicharron eating contest and wasn't in the best fighting shape.

I actually like that idea, good shout. Darleys Perez, Marcelino Lopez and Cano are some other guys that would make sense.

Linares is a beautiful boxer. But....

"Linares also suffered a cut around his right eye in the second."

Lol what else is new? Worst skin in boxing, he starts bleeding early in all of his fights. It's going to be tough for him to compete against the top guys with that condition.

Right! Why not try to make the tune-ups meaningful, if possible.
DeMarco and Salgado, first guy that beat him, are still fighting, so why not try to avenge those fights?
If Jorge wants a few more tune-ups those aren't bad ideas. Keeps him active and it will allow him clear his name a little.

I agree Linares is one of the prettiest fighters to watch the guy is text book but that chin and skin.
