Like back out of a fight with him?
unless you're making a pun, no.

Pirog had to pull out and retire with his back injury. I was really looking forward to that fight.

He backed out bc he broke his back. Spinal
I see what you did there. Pretty clever!

yeah, Pirog hurt his back in training camp doing sledgehammer work if I recall. What I find funny is Geale ducked both of them only to get KO'd by G later in his career.

Pirog smokes Golovkin, from what I remember seeing.

Have no idea who coached him, but his style seemed as if you took an Eastern European-style junior Olympian at 18 years old, and then basically had him then grind through the gyms of the upper Midwest for the decade after that.

The traps that he'd have the Abel Sanchez-trained Golovkin walking onto would've been beautiful.

(Oddly enough, though he was nowhere near as fluid, the early Germany Golovkin had flashes of what Pirog put out; off-speed shots, mixing of the levels good use of feet, use of probing shots to open things up, etc)

No. GGG was much better. Now that he lost a fight the haters are talking like he never was any good. He was and is damn good and I am sure he will be a first ballot hall of fame boxer.

It has already been confirmed that Lomachenko's dad coached him bro.

Why make yourself look like an idiot?

Source or shut the **** up; if Anatoly Lomachenko had actually been the man guiding him along, he wouldn't have shown up as an anonymous figure when he finally brought his son Vasyl along, fool.

They have common opponents and all I can say is that pirog had competitive fights with some that ggg stopped in 2-4 rds. GGG stops him.
