Remember what pact@rds were saying. Pacman beats Frauds opponents better so that means he beats fraud. Styles makes fight.

      They have different advantages

Golovkin is clearly better at pressuring and being on the front foot. Better knockout power

Pirog is not an agressor but he has better upper body movement, better usage of shoulder roll and better defense. Tactically, Pirog is probably better, he's great at analysing and listening his breakdowns of fights and gameplans in his interviews is a joy, a lot of boxing wisdom there, it makes you wonder why he's not training other boxers with that approach. Golovkin on the other hand, was doing the same things over and over again.

That would be a good matchup for sure. Pirog is a better fighter on close distance and Golovkin is better at long range

Here's some defensive highlights of both fighters. Pirog defense is more effective, but Golovkin defense is more subtle and takes less stamina

Doesn't mean much. Golovkin was struggling with some Japanese sushi chef early in his pro career. You boxing fans think that these hypothetical matchups with different boxers are like comparing pokemons or like they're some characters from some video game with different stats and all that, like this fighter has a 10 chin but his stamina is 5 out of 10. The other guy has 7 out of 10 footwork and 9 out of 10 defense. So who's gonna win? It doesn't work that way in real life, and one small episode can change the whole outcome of the fight and give the win to a fighter who might be worse in all criterias than his opponent

Fantasy fight. GGG vs Pirog....who would you pick to win this battle?
Pirog imo was one of the most technically gifted of the modern fighters. Very different type of fighter than GGG, I think in a different class as well. Canelo has become technically proficient and slides off when he body punches GGG. GGG was unable to make adjustments to these methods, I can't imagine what he would do against a guy who would punish you for following him around the ring.

Source or shut the **** up; if Anatoly Lomachenko had actually been the man guiding him along, he wouldn't have shown up as an anonymous figure when he finally brought his son Vasyl along, fool.
Vyacheslav Nepogodin and Viktor Petrochenko trained him, Victor Serdyukov trained him when he was younger and formed his style. There's a Q&A with him on Youtube with the translation in the description.

Anybody is better than Triple Flop. Triple Flop was the biggest hype job in boxing history.

...and Pirog stopped Jacobs who GGG struggled with. Now what?
