No it is not. WADA is an involuntary World Anti-Doping Agency authorized agency initiated by the international Olympic Committee which deals primarily with testing Olympic amateur athletes only for doping through blood samples and urine but not for professional athletes.

They have no jurisdiction in the sport of prizefighting or professional sports at all unless they are allowed, given authorization or permission by the professional athletes themselves like VADA; Which is totally voluntary in order to do so. WADA has no authority over the Andrade vs. Billy Joe Saunders fight. All they can do is just list all the names of their banned substances.

While they can determine whether or not a substance is banned is irrelevant because they are not the authorized agency conducting the testing for this fight but VADA is. Therefore what VADA says goes and not WADA because the participants didn't choose them. They chose VADA instead. Therefore, they have no authorization by the principles of the fight to draw urine or blood samples from any of them because it wasn't voluntary.

Yeah I agree and it's very true. If the fight was held in England, Wales or Scotland then their jurisdiction would have taken precedence over this bout and this whole fiasco would all been nipped in the bud.

However, since the bout is being held in America and they have an American based Voluntary Anti-Doping Agency; Then those are the rules they are going to base their decisions on. Outside of USADA, America does not rely upon other Anti-Doping Agencies.

People here are so pathetic they still try to discriminate a person who just used nasal spray to clear a blocked nose.

In some of these simpletons' minds, he's at fault here.

Just imagine how absolutely ******ed a person has to be to blame an athlete for using nasal spray. Just step back and consider how absolutely mind numbingly stupid you have to be, to put blame on BJS in this situation.

It blows my mind the level of stupidity the average person on this forum possesses.

But you can't have it both ways. Where was all this mercy and sympathy shown to Canelo Alvarez once he popped for Clenbuterol that you are now showing for BJS popping for a nasal decongestion spray?

As a matter of fact, Billy Joe Saunders went so far as to not even giving Canelo the benefit of the doubt. Alvarez said he tested positive for contaminated beef. That was his story and he stuck with it but BJS didn't buy it.

Moreover, BJS called Canelo every conceivable name out of the book. Even insinuating that he was a doper, drug cheat, juicer and even went so far as to suggest that Canelo should receive a lifetime ban for testing positive for clenbuterol; Which is ironic because he just got busted for using something even ten times more potent than clenbuterol.

So let's not be partial and biased hypocrites when one of our favorite fighters steps into it and lands himself in hot water. Lastly, Billy Joe Saunders erratic behavior could be explained by his Oxilofrine abuse.

They said that one of the side effects of that drug is that it stimulates the central nervous system which accounts for the loss of brain cells.

according to VADA he cheated, didnt roy jones use the nasal spray excuse before? Imagine if this was deontay wilder using this excuse, would these same posters be defending it he way they are? SMH these are also the same fans who jumped all over canelo and scoffed at his excuse.

these guys will never do this, they will defend anything their fighters do, look how fast they swept billys behavior a few weeks ago under the rug. but are the first to complain anything other fighters do.

Ain't that the truth? There are a lot moral inconsistencies when it comes to the fighters they love. Just like when Billy Joe Saunders solicited that female drug addict prostitute and when the time he forced a man to strip naked in his car to possibly perform an oral sex act upon him while he was naked. We'll simply won't know.

Yep, it's hypocrisy at its finest. When it is one of their guys they want to get very defensive and start name-calling. I guess they have a rule and everyone else doesn't.

VADA uses the WADA code and rules, so do USADA. Almost all sports commissions etc like NSAC use the WADA prohibited list. WADA is the standard.
