Back in the day fighthype interview Williams about Floyd and he said something along the lines of "I'm not saying I'd win, but I'd get my shots in."

I don't think Floyd had the power of Garcia to get that type of respect. The same with GGG vs Floyd. Casual Mayweather fans will say that he outboxes GGG, but he has no power to get GGG's respect and he would have just walked thru his punches and brutalized him.

Here is P Williams stating that Floyd has been avoiding him even though they have the same promoter!

I don’t think Floyd Mayweather will fight me anytime. Manny Pacquiao, he might do it, he might step up but not Floyd.”
“I was in the barbershop in D.C. the other day and the guys were talking about (a potential Williams-Mayweather fight). They respect Floyd’s skills like I do, but they were saying they know he won’t ever fight me.”

If Floyd went to (mutual advisor) Al (Haymon) and said, ‘Hey, I want to fight Paul Williams, what can Al do? But Floyd is not going to ever say that. Pacquiao – he fights bigger guys – he’s different than Mayweather – so maybe I will get to fight him.”

“I can make 147 for Floyd or for Manny if I have to and I would. But this isn’t like baseball or football where the best teams are mandated to play each other. In boxing, these guys don’t want to give me the shot.”

“If the fans demand it, then HBO will hear them. Maybe HBO can make the top guys fight me. If it’s demanded by the public, then maybe. But, when these guys fight and then take the microphone after they fight, who do they mention? You never hear them say my name, do you?”

“Floyd ranks himself with Ray Robinson, with Joe Louis, all these guys (Ali, Leonard, etc) …but all those great guys, they all lost some time. Mayweather won’t take a hard fight, he won’t take the chance of losing.”

        Paul Williams

Dull Razor . . . you are or you're is proper grammar in this sentence, not "your"

I had Pac for what? I was more of a JMM fan. I liked Pac as a fighter.

Kell - I assume Kell Brook? I don't think I've ever rooted for Kell.

Kovalev - never a K fan, I wanted Alvarez to win and in the rematch if that is happening.

Golovkin - indeed a fan. Still undefeated in my eyes.

HBO - what does this even mean?

Dull Razor use that EBT card and get yourself a solid meal. You aren't making any sense, well you never do but this time you are off more than usual. LOL!

                Dehydration effects everyone differently

The effects of dehydration can vary in accordance surrounding temperature and the the individual's physical and motivational response. For instance, Canelo may have been motivated to throw lots of punches, they obviosly lost a lot of snap and effectiveness.

I will agree thow that Canelo has vastly improved with experience just as most young Mexican bixers learn via on the job training

Add to that Williams had nowhere near the speed of Floyd at any point. Mayweather would have been tagging him at will all night long - shades of Mayweather/Corrales.

So I ask you. What in the blue world would convince you that this guy would have beaten Floyd Mayweather?
Height, arm length, paul is a warrior... I think he would have done well against Floyd..

I still think Floyd lost to Castillo, first fight.... second fight, flowed impressed me, I never bet against him after that...

Floyd put money in my pockets, I’m a gambler... I bet my wallet, not my heart.. Floyd is the best... I don’t like him.. but I bet my wallet... ployd

And that 4th fight don't count as much for your argument because like i said, if you give someone enough chances, more than likely, they'll be able to score one on you which is exactly what marquez did. With Pac's style, you dont keep giving other fighters chances because pac's style relied on speed and reaction. As you get older these starts to fade which is what marquez capitalize on.
                      Excuse.

"At the end of the day", People disputed every Manny win in that quadrilogy and the draw.

                      Did anyone dispute Marquez's win?

                      Hint: the answer is no.

What's that mean? It means Marquez won the feud. Period.
