Correct. Wilder is setting up for a big payday, and has found himself in a great position after nearly blowing it against Ortiz.

He'll get credit when he beats fatty Fury, who has somehow turned into Muhammad Ali since he sat on the couch and drank beer, then beat two nobodies. So Wilder benefits from the illusion that Fury is a good scalp.

Then Wilder get potentially two paydays against AJ. ONe for getting knocked out in London, and maybe they can sell the public on him getting ko'd again in Vegas. But what I agree with, is that he will lose when he takes on the retirement paycheque fight, ie: Joshua.

Can't see Usyk doing anything with AJ. What's Beterbiev up to these days? Can he make Cruiser, cos he is a beast and I really wanted to see him beat ward up, till Andrea saw the writing on the wall and wisely retired a few years early rather than take the loss.

Usyk can outbox anyone cruiserweight and up as long as he's not caught by someone like Wilder or Joshua flush.

He’s not that slick though and does get tagged ... if one of the big boys tag him he’s gonna be doing the stanky leg for sure

Stick him in with Whyte or miller after Bellew to see how he handles getting hit by a proper heavy and go from there

I wouldn't compare Povetkin and Usyk at all. While they are both skilled cruisers, who will fight in the heavyweight division, or have been, they are quite different.

Povetkin fights much closer, likes to get inside and throw powershots. He was in range for Joshua the whole fight. Usyk will not be there. He can fight there, but actually is very good from the outside, with great movement, and is quite elusive. He will outbox Joshua from the outside, coming in and going back out.

I still think at some point Joshua corners him, because he should be able to walk him down eventually. But perhaps not. Usyk has a chance. But Povetkin and Usyk fight quite differently. Povetkin was always in danger of getting caught. I mean he was trying to actually hurt AJ, while Usyk would most likely just try to outbox him.

through povetkin fights from the inside, and was in danger of getting caught by Joshua, but it was actually from distance that he got caught by that right hand that changed the whole fight.. inside or outside,usyk gets dismantled. i watched the highlight of usyk vs joyce fight, joyce boxed like a stiff robot, you could see his whole punch moving in slow mo..and though he lost the fight, he rocked usyk a number of times, talk more of Aj, wait wait, am i the only one who did not take w.. ee.. d before posting on this topic
