I think he’s a special fighter, but as I said time will tell. I like AJ equally, so if he flattens Usyk in round one, I won’t be too upset to hear “I told you so”.
You are correct, "time will tell". At least you are having a open mind about it. Others got on here talking like it would be an easy fight for Usyk. People get caught up in the fighters with little numbers of professional fights only to have to eat crow later. There have been countless time the "better" boxer lost to the "power puncher" even within the same weight class, In this example size would REALLY matter.

I think Usyk is a nightmare for Wilder. There's no certainly at all that someone that elusive will get caught.

He'll make AJ look like a not so great boxer while it lasts - but he'll get beaten down and knocked out by AJ

AJ wasn't being defensive, he was going for the win in a sensible way. He was going to get caught a good few times.

People always forget about the opponent actually being good!

Usyk may beat Bellew but he won't beat AJ. Joshua is fast for a big man. He will catch Usyk at some point and will grab and lean on him to sap his strength.
Marco Huck a cruiserweight actually beat Povetkin too but got robbed.

Winning a cruiserweight tournament at a time in which there are not many good cruiserweights in the first place? LOL He had to beat Gassiev to win who himself has not really beaten anybody of note. Lomenchenko didnt even mention Wilder yet you fools bring him up as a easy win for Usyk. I need to know what you guys think would happen when he gets hit ONCE by AJ. All of you dudes cannot be doing drugs at the same time in different time zones. I refuse to believe that...
LMAO Thank you. I thought I was the only one reading crap I couldn't believe.

Usyk will probably have the chance next fall to fight AJ if he gets past Bellew. AJ will fight Whyte in April, then it will be probably Usyk in the fall.

I wouldn't compare Povetkin and Usyk at all. While they are both skilled cruisers, who will fight in the heavyweight division, or have been, they are quite different.

Povetkin fights much closer, likes to get inside and throw powershots. He was in range for Joshua the whole fight. Usyk will not be there. He can fight there, but actually is very good from the outside, with great movement, and is quite elusive. He will outbox Joshua from the outside, coming in and going back out.

I still think at some point Joshua corners him, because he should be able to walk him down eventually. But perhaps not. Usyk has a chance. But Povetkin and Usyk fight quite differently. Povetkin was always in danger of getting caught. I mean he was trying to actually hurt AJ, while Usyk would most likely just try to outbox him.

Call me crazy but I think Usyk can beat any HW not named Victor Ortiz. And that is based on styles, Ortiz to me is the most skilled guy in the hw vidision, was outclassing Wilder till he got cracked..

Usyk is a very crafty boxer, his only downplay could be his power but I still think that he will make you block his punches.

Question is how his chin will hold up to the division.

Unlike your fighters, Loma realizes that Joshua is limited, as are the USA fighters who only remain relevant fighting bums on Pbc
