Comments Thread For: Povetkin: I'm as Strong as Joshua, I Was Weaker With Klitschko

Anthony Joshua is ready to fulfil his mandatory obligations by facing Russian fighter Alexander Povetkin at Wembley Stadium. The last time Joshua fought at Wembley, it was in front of about 90,000 spectators in April 2017 when he beat Wladimir Klitschko to become boxing's new superstar virtually overnight.

LIES! Pedvetkin was allowed to use Meldonium in 2013, as it was legal at the time that Alexander fought Wladimir -- but who knows maybe hes on a new PED.

I really hope Povetkin is juicing for this fight. Would love to see him beat Joshua. Sorry, got excited for a minute there. We all know Povetkin has been paid handsomely by Hearn to ensure he poses no threat to Joshua.

As strong as AJ? He must be back on the gear.

Yes he probably has a book bag full of back up performance enhancing drugs that no one has heard of yet. Don't think for a second PEDvetkin hasn't got a few tricks up his sleeves lol

I think that the only way for Povetkin to win this fight is by knockout or by making it so incontrovertibly lopsided with several knockdowns between rounds and having AJ so badly hurt to the point of nearly having him out on his feet in order to secure a points victory.

Speaking of 'Performance' I'm interested on how both Joshua and Pedvetkin present themselves in the later rounds -- if the fight even gets past the eight round. Maybe Alexander handle the grind a little better because Joshua weighed considerably heavier ; perhaps team Joshua has trained for a early KO.
